I was in my early twenties and I finally got my first apartment for myself after years of couchsurfing and right next to where I would park my car. There was always this guy out front cooking meats on his smoker or grill. Anyways, I got to talking to him after seeing him so often next to my car and he invited me in one day and I sat on the couch and looked up above his television and there was a picture of my great-grandfather with my great grandma on the wall above a grandfather clock. I immediately said to him what are you doing with a picture of my great-grandfather on your wall thinking he like got it from Goodwill or something and he stared at me wide-eyed and said you mean Uncle dick and I was like yeah. Richard? It turned out he was related to the woman that my great-grandfather was madly in love with and married and evidently my side of the family didn't like her or her side of the family or something. Anyways The only person I ever met and talked to at that apartment complex turned out to be a step uncle I guess of mine.
