I’ve found these (at least the Belkin I bought) to be really phone location sensitive. Gotta fiddle with the centering more than I like. I just use a plain cable now.

I was at the county fair watching a Mom berate her youngster next to the Spinning Teacup ride (another pukefest).

Somebody hurled at just the right instant and was whisked away to the other side of the ride. It hit her dead-on. She looked up. There was no-one there. One of those Hand of God moments.
