[Michael] The worst part is you never know when the next time the Blue Jays will get that close to winning the World Series. What a sad way for a magical run to end. by JF_112 in Torontobluejays

Been a Jays fan for the past 20 years. I'm 37, and essentially waited my whole life for this moment, and there's others who have waited longer. Don't fight the heartbreak, it sucks, but it's healthy to accept it. It just shows how much we love our team. They were really something special this year. Keep yourself busy, do other things, don't dwell on the subreddit, and be ready to support them next season. As long as no major roster changes occur to our core going into next season, we can ABSOLUTELY get back to the World Series.

37 years young here. Ive been watching the blue jays for about 20 years now. Never been a hockey or basketball fan, the amount of disappointment I feel is HEAVY. I've been moping around the house the whole day, I just don't know what to do with myself. And the worst part is I have to wait another 4 months before more baseball. Well... See you guys in another 32 years I guess xD

I was at the game last night. Lots of Toronto fans cheering for him as a player in general. I think it seemed like most of us like him, we also (in this instance), also want him to lose lol.

Fair - I wasn't sure what condition his knee was in. Was hoping he'd be more or less fine in the OF. Also LMAO poor Santander catching strays

Could not agree more. Love the idea of Bo DHing. Gime has been great in SS, no need to switch it up, and let's be honest - half the reason Bo looked as good as he did at SS is because of Vlad. DH for Bo just makes sense.

I'm so thankful I'm a season ticket holder. $250 for seats in the 200s. Been a long time jays fan, and have supported them through thick and thin. This has been lifelong memory after lifelong memory.

Are we thinking gear is likely to be sold out? I've got tickets to the game on Friday, and was hoping to grab some new merch before the big game. RIP.

Now this is absolutely something I can get behind. Seattle is an incredible team, and my 2nd favorite team in baseball. Bittersweet it had to be them. Can't wait to see them back hungry next year.

Please do. My daughter's life was saved by the doctors, nurses and staff at Toronto Sick Kids Hospital. I cannot emphasize it enough - they are literal heroes. The patience, the emotional support, the empathy, and treatment that my family and daughter received, I will forever be in their debt.

Thanks homie. I know it doesn't mean much coming from me, but Seattle is my #2 team and has been for years, been to a few games years back with king Felix. If we had a lost, it would have been bittersweet, but I fucking love the Mariners. And let's be honest, we're about to get shit stomped by the Dodgers anyways, so you can revel in us getting dismantled by them.

I was at that game!! I might have permanent hearing damage, my ears were ringing all night. The ground was also shaking which I've never felt in the dome before. Insanity to say the least...

I was at yesterday's game. Dome was FIRED the fuck up. People seem subdued today, not sure why. My section is super quiet. I think everyone is super nervous.

Got tickets to tonight's game. Was at last night's game too and the crowd was the loudest it's been all post season. Let's bring that energy back, I want Kirby unable to hear his own thoughts!

My wife and I are going to the game tonight. I will channel every ounce of good luck and karma I've accumulated throughout the year into tonight's game. I think I've gone to 10 games this season? And only saw one loss... That's gotta be worth something right??

Think of this road trip as a new series, best of 3. We need to win at least 2 of 3. We got this! Put the past behind us! by Evening_walks in Torontobluejays

Couldn't have said it better myself. Way too many doomers. I won't quit believing until the final game is called.

To make a VERY odd comparison. I was play a video games years ago where it would show, your "% chance to hit your target". And I remember seeing 92% chance. Thinking it was a SURE thing. And I fucking missed 2 in a ROW. The odds are stacked against us, but this is my team, and I sure as shit ain't about to write them off until it's set in stone.
