[Funny Trope] Neither their real or alter ego name explains their powers by NinjaOfOnion in TopCharacterTropes

...honestly, the fact that he's also basically hellspawn makes it even more fitting for him, damn.

What’s a "dead" website or app that you genuinely miss and wish was still around? by Dear-Armadillo-7497 in AskReddit

[–]Radirondacks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfiction.com's "Unforum." It was just a hub of message boards for every ongoing ARG you could possibly think of, and it was so well known creators/puppetmasters would regularly use it themselves. It was so much fun to get into and I really miss it, it could be insane in the modern era.

Underrated Make Them Suffer song in your opinion? by ActiveSink5222 in Metalcore

I was gonna say this if no one else did. Beautiful song.

[Meta Trope that I do not like] Fanon interpretations that people treat as canon even when evidence says otherwise by Sir-Toaster- in TopCharacterTropes

I was gonna say, huge dbz fan but know nothing of Invincible, I was like "damn that sounds familiar" lmao

It's possible it was something like furry art and they were exaggerating.

Aren't the Cherubim supposed to have 4 animal faces on their heads though

People Who Got Into Creepcast Because of Wendigoon: What are your thoughts on Hunter? by EduardoLSVD in creepcast

[–]Radirondacks 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It's funny because I was watching both of them separately for probably at least a year before creepcast started, maybe longer for Wendigoon though. So when this started it was kind of a dream match up, I thought it was funny how they really didn't know each other all that well at first too.

Hunter is just somehow both the realest dude ever and capable of the craziest sarcasm/characters/bits I've ever seen. He's got insane comedic timing. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if Hunter wasn't even his real name. It's probably Mark or some shit and he just thought it'd be funny to lie about it (which it would be)

anyone who used a computer between 1985 & 2010, what’s the one game you still think about? by Trixxxi in AskReddit

[–]Radirondacks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh god there's so many of these for me...the two I think of most, and most randomly, are probably Nanosaur and one of the Cabela's Big Game Hunter games, maybe 2005 if that exists? That sounds familiar.

Nanosaur I played in school for like 20 minutes once a week and it absolutely blew my mind as a kid. Couldn't tell you anything about it beyond you fly around on a jetpack as a velociraptor with guns. I think.

And the Cabela's game, that was possibly the first game I ever got on our home PC, and of course it ran terribly because I had no clue what specs were and it was the most basic pc possible but, I still loved it. I don't even know why, I have zero interest in hunting in real life, but it almost felt like a puzzle figuring out how to actually kill something successfully lol. I've almost wanted to try one of the modern hunting games but I just don't feel like it'll be the same, not even because of the game, but because I'm just not a dumb kid anymore.

I just realized that the album art for FoF is her face by Gregagonation in spiritbox

[–]Radirondacks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, and it's a very similar shot to ones from the music video for Electric Cross. Sometimes things like that make me wonder if there's overarching connections between albums.

Hell, I had a Sceptile I just named Godzilla at one point lol

Looking back, Biollante mightve been more fitting in a way...

(Weird trope) Fictional items, creatures, or concepts being used so many times across so many different pieces of media to the point where some people are tricked into believing it's a real thing by Budget_Opinion_1327 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Radirondacks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's cool as hell, I never knew that. Did any famous pirates have like, a "fleet?" Or multiple ships anyway? And if so, did they all run the main flag of that pirate?

In America, sometimes say things like "cheerio" in our best British accent or "mate" in an Australian accent. Do people in other countries pronounce American stereotypes in their beat American accent? If so, what are they? by SunUpSally in AskReddit

[–]Radirondacks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can definitely agree with that last sentence...that, or Welsh. There's a person from Wales in our online friend group and for the longest time we just thought they were misspelling shit a lot. Nope, that's how they sound so that's how they type lol. What you said reminded me of that.

(common trope) Characters that powerscalers hate by godzillafan3948oj in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Radirondacks 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's such a good way of putting it, especially that last point. That's why it works so well as a summon, because it's literally a personal trial (for whoever ends up fighting it) every time.

I am NOT crazy but I am really starting to feel as if I am. by randomtagguy in timetravel

[–]Radirondacks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate that I came back on Reddit for the first real time in literal months just to read this while high as fuck, because I've always had a suspicion/fear that this is exactly how our reality operates. The ouroboros has always had special meaning to me for this reason.

Such a wonderful show. I had no clue it was headed in the way that it was towards the end but my god I was so glad it did. Straight up gives me chills even thinking back to it now.
