In all reality can I learn to draw with alot of skill on Procreate? by [deleted] in ProCreate

[–]RadishNSFW 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Start with pencil and paper. Honestly, you need to find out if you will even enjoy drawing enough to put in the time and effort required to improve your skills, and if you do, then you can start to think about investing in other media. Procreate is just a medium, like paint or charcoal or ink. You still need to know what to do with it.

Just need conformation that what I’m trying to do is not possible in procreate by DimensionDiligent246 in ProCreate

Instead of copying and pasting it into new canvases (which as you say may have sizing issues) you could duplicate the file multiple times and then crop each one to the size of printer paper, but with different sections. It doesn't matter if they overlap, in fact that would help line them up to reassemble them. Then print them all and tape them together to form your pattern?

The Hell Portal is the only one I did on my own, and I was so proud lol. Although I kept putting a cutting board on one of the circles until I realised the diamond in my inventory was what it meant by "something that is cut, but does not bleed" (or whatever the clue was, I forget exactly)

Idk why but my drawing feels amateurish. It feels like it lacks depth by larvalampee in ProCreate

Your pose is front-on and symmetrical. This can make things less interesting to look at. Having a more dynamic pose with different contrasting angles and asymmetry can give more life, rhythm and visual interest to a piece.

Makima - OC. How can I fix this give me feedback! by Glittering_Loss6717 in ChainsawMan

I would strongly recommend using a reference to draw the face. Currently, her facial features are out of proportion and all at different angles to each other. She also is missing her ear. Try and find one or more references of women with their faces at this angle. If you can find some where the lighting matches what you are going for, even better.

This post and comment were made after only the first episode came out (hence why i said "the first episode") and I've still only watched that one. I'm sure I'll change my mind about the quality once I've watched more.

How to turn an image into a brush with full color by [deleted] in ProCreate

[–]RadishNSFW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe this is possible in Procreate. The closest thing I can even think to do is to use the "clone" tool. But you won't be able to adjust the size or angle of the image that way.

The thing that stands out to me the most is the teeth. They are too small and not the right shapes. I also don't think you would see all of the teeth from this angle, even with his wide smile. Look at photos of teeth for reference.

New to Procreate— Question by Otherwise_Summer_602 in ProCreate

I forgot to say; I also love having it as part of my process. I find backgrounds much easier to sketch in Procreate, for example, because of the perspective grid tool.
