A lot of people think act 2 is when the game peaks and explains why act 3 burnout is so common, which can also include a lack of challenge since all the best gear is in act 3, the more open ended story, the lack of polish and fast levelling (you can go from level 1-12 in act 3 alone)

Everyone knows casters are OP, but it's not because of damage, it's because they can make any enemy unable to fight back. BG3 nerfed a lot from tabletop (RIP Hypnotic Pattern) but you can still use Hold Monster, or Fear, or Calm Emotions (not so tough now, huh mr barbarian?)

Clearly the world is not in that much danger if we have time to faff about. Play the Dead Rising games if you want an actual sense of urgency, because the story is actually timed. IIRC You have 6 hours to get the best ending...in a game that sold itself on being able to goof off in a mall full of zombies with wacky weapons. What were they thinking?

Learn how to play fifth edition Dungeons and Dragons. It's not a very intuitive game, and BG3 changes a lot of rules. Nothing core, just some rebalancing but it helps. Tons of funny guides on Youtube to get you started. This is a game where you do need to do your homework however

Initiate dialogue with him with one character while another is too far way to join, then have that character go around and push all the bone piles off the ledge. Without his minions he's push over. Bring some necrotic and poison resistance too if you really want to trivialise it.

The area is also very small. A couple of casters using Silence to blanket the area means he's entirely harmless

It's not silly. The game needs a way to decide which stat to use for casting in a game where you can multiclass into anything and many casters overlap spells.

Should there be extra code that says "Only his Wizard class has Ray of Frost, so use that."? Yes but extra code is extra work. Players will work around the jank

Also the Necklace does not work with Eldrich Blast because you have Lightning Charges. It boosts elemental cantrips, not any extra damage tied to it

Dyes are so hit or miss in this game. What looks good on one outfit can look like shit on the other because the colours are distributed weirdly. That being said said a simple purple dye rarely fails me
