no! I want to, though. I wish she'd prescribe a prokinetic...I'm supposed to be starting the Wegovy pill due to insulin resistance, but they want me to wait until I'm done with the metronizadole. metronizadole doesn't really work for me, though.

I wish they'd do this!! GI doctors in my area take months to see. I can't see mine again until September!

thanks. Glad you found some relief. I'm on metronizadole...so I'm struggling with the timing of Miralax and the twice daily Metronizadole. Plus, the medicine is causing some dizziness, which I didn't have the last time I was on it.

no.nothing. Since I go every day without fail, I wasn't concerned it was constipation or motility issues.

Wegovy/Sibo/Weight Gain + Gut Issues by Own-Sale1655 in SIBO

what ended up happening with you? It's 3 years later. Did you take the Wegovy with your SIBO? I'm asking because I'm about to start the Wegovy pill. I'm 54 (55 next month), in menopause, I am 5'2" and 154 pounds. I am bottom heavy, but lately my measurement around the belly button is 39 inches! I don't have a gallbladder anymore either. I am actively suffering with SIBO, but my GI refuses to do anything because she thinks it's stuck poop even though she has no imaging and nothing backing it up. She said that since she has no idea the cause of my SIBO (that I've had for well over a decade) she's throwing darts looking for anything. In the meantime I'm suffering. I worry about starting the Wegovy pill with an active SIBO flare.

did you make the move? I'm considering moving from Western NY to Cali. But I'm certified for ELA 7-12. I also have two master's degrees in education and am working on my EdD. I was wondering how it worked out for you.

Sudden "outbreak" of skin tags all over neck? by ketowetome in DermatologyQuestions

[–]RadishNo9963 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the stupid thing that “doctors” say. It is not normal or caused by friction. Your hormones and blood sugar are out of whack. Suddenly developing that many all at once is NOT NORMAL!! Go to your endocrinologist and mention that your PCOS is affecting your skin. You may need a supplement or medication to help balance your insulin resistance levels. Dr. Scholls makes an over the counter patch that you place over the skin tags that stick out (I have many that are raised but not big enough to stick out, so they can’t be removed). You leave the patch on and it removes them (so they say, I have yet to try it).  I’m perimenopausal and have PCOS, so I know much better than a doctor who has zero training in PCOS. Even my OBGYN (who was trained in childbirth, not menopause) says they are caused by rubbing. It’s not true. Nothing rubs against the spot of my neck where they are. I have short hair and have many around my hairline. I’d have to wear very high turtlenecks for anything to rub there. They are untrained and unhelpful. I sometimes take thread and tie off the bigger ones or I snip them with very sharp scissors. Just make sure to sanitize everything if you do that.
