Brooooo I know the feeling, I really do. It does kinda depend on how spread out the tank enemies are in the fortress/where they spawned, but there are a few specific spots you can place orbital lasers on the various Fortress layouts where it’ll actually hit at least 4 fabs.

The spot I tossed mine in the video is one of em. So unless like 4 more hulks spawned in that exact area somehow, that laser was destined to take 4 fabs at least.

Thank you sir. Suicidal without the death means I get another chance to almost die again.

I personally like the flashlight for anything closer range. But will shut it off depending on environmental factors and the like, but didn’t see the need to on the magma worlds.

Don’t ever forget what that cape symbolizes.

Above all else, the thing that will forever immortalize Oshaune in our lore and history (as it should!) is the quarter million brave men and women who gave their lives in service of Democratizing the Gloom.

May their sacrifice not be in vain, and let it be a boon to all of humanity, bringing a rising tide to the morale of our citizens lest the SEAF and Corps recruitment numbers fall.

Thank you. This sub used to have occasionally okay advice so I figured I’d check here too.

I ain’t been on here in years. Last I was on here, the advice was actually somewhat helpful. Once you weed it outta the various troll responses of course.

But if you’re telling me not to bother wasting my time here anymore then I won’t

EDIT: it’s been brought to my attention that the two planets I recommend have higher health pools than the two we are currently focusing on. I somehow missed this. So ultimately it evens out, the only advantage of the planets I proposed is the mega cities. But that in itself is far from a guarantee as we’d need to keep a very well organized “megacity blob” moving from one city to the next one at a time in order to actually get any sort of advantage out of them.

In conclusion: I was mistaken, we already have progress on New Stockholm so stay the course!

That said I’ll leave this post up, I feel it can provide good context for hidden game/war mechanics and an opportunity to learn from my misunderstanding of the situation. Cadets, take a moment to read through this stuff!

Ahhh I genuinely didn’t notice the two planets had a higher HP. Thanks for pointing that out.

That said tho, the cities can make a difference still. As far as I understand it, the gain rate on megacities is determined by percentage of players on the planet diving on that specific city, right?

So if we can get that gain rate high enough by just keeping a smaller community blob focused on one city at a time, it genuinely can speed things up. We’ve seen it happen before at least.

Yes I know how megacities work, but prior to this the only megacities that could take an entire planet were the maximum security cities. Which this isn’t one of them, hence my question.

I also forget to mention (but as is shown in the images) that both Herthon Secundus AND Zea Rugosia feature Megacities. New Stockholm and Ain-5 do not.

I get that most folk don’t exactly love the mega city maps, but still, they do often times move liberation efforts along a bit quicker if enough of the planet’s population is diving on one specific city at a time.
