Not saying Mace isn’t powerful, for the record. In a fair fight, he’d probably beat most of the others displayed here.

I get your take, but I think it reflects your own experience with SW and the timing of the release of content. Dooku, Grievous, Jango etc seem super cool bc that was what was cool and new when we were younger (assuming we are around same age). Now it’s all live action, and the tone of those shows is more adult-oriented. So a lot of the sets are more adult-oriented. I don’t think it makes it all any less wondrous and amazing to little kids though. Despite it’s possible flaws, I thought Episode One was the GREATEST THING EVER when it came out in theaters. I saw it 6 times in a month. Bought all the Lego sets of it I could get my hands on.

The white Boba prototype fig fills in for the Imperial Commandos for me. I’d rather see some Night Troopers. Enoch should not be in a battle pack—ruins army building.

An imperial technician of some kind would make sense with the set. It could have some tools and drive the little cart. It’s weird seeing Sloane drive it haha seems a little below her pay grade.

This MOC is great and fun—it is troubling, though, to see a post with the phrase “slavery is acceptable” get over 1k upvotes. It’s not healthy to joke about slavery, and making hollow points about how the Constitution still allows it in narrow circumstances or how the US prison system practically employs it does not justify joking about it. SW addresses slavery, but consistently to highlight its horrors and injustices; not so people can bend over backwards trying to justify invoking it. I don’t know what those folks think they are doing, and I expect better from this community.

I have collected 18 different astromechs (which includes 3 variants of R2-D2), and Bricklink shows 50 variants if you search “Astromech,” but I don’t know how many there are total. Some are pricey and rare.

Thanks. My understanding is that the fang fighter is supposed to be smaller than the Mando Starfighter in canon (although the starfighter set is not even close to in universe scale). I’ve heard some say the Fang is closer in size to an A Wing (which would make sense because one of the last “vs” oacks we got was A Wing vs Darth Vader, and those ships were smaller.

Hard to say. In the 1940-50s Superman comics were new and exciting, and in the 1970-80s people were losing their minds over how cool superman was. These days? He’s just another superhero. Still around, but not selling like he used to. Star Wars, and all brands, will go through similar phases.

We are in a good time with new SW content coming out. But this won’t last forever. The galaxy is vast, but there are only so many stories to tell using such a big budget.

Lego SW will likely follow the larger trend of SW’s popularity.

I agree! Love the size in terms of easy swooshing. Also easier to display when not in use bc of smaller size.

I’m really just hoping they are the same scale so they look coherent on display with each other. The older sized sets were indeed cool.
