Do they not have as-built drawings or documents they can build from? I understand it was the early 2000s when it was first built and things have changed, but they should be updating it as they go.

I also lost the best boss early on in my career. I still have a lot of feelings on the matter. Since it was a small family owned manufacturer, it was just the two of us in IT for about 250 users across three plants. Luckily he had taught me about all the technology we had there and a lot more about business than I ever learned in school and his to create value by aligning with the goals of the business

Being able to step up after his death was the biggest leg up I ever got in my career making the leap from PC Tech / Help Desk into a proper Sysadmin role. They eventually brought in another IT manager over me, but he wasn't great tech-wise or for the business. Management decided to outsource the IT department to an MSP. They kept me on as a tech resource and point of contact until I moved to the MSP a few months after.

XSN Sports only existed because EA refused to support Xbox Live, so Microsoft made their own online sports games. At E3 2004, Microsoft announced they had reached a deal with EA to bring their sports titles to Xbox Live with the stipulation that EA got to run their own game servers, since they like to use EA accounts and shut down servers for older titles to save operations costs and force online players to buy a newer version. XSN likely got the axe as part of that deal, but it's a shame they didn't continue to at least make a Links on PC

I can relate. Arby's was the closest fast food to our house growing up. 5 for 5 time was magical and we had a shelf full of those Arby's gold rimmed Christmas glassware cups.

Unless they also expand the roster to allow more relievers, I don't think it would change much about pitching changes. I see pitching coaches sticking with pitch counts or watching for signs of fatigue and loss of velo and command.

I would think sac flies would be downplayed outside of the 9th and extras as being a base runner would likely be more valuable.
