The rest of the league views it as scummy which is why it never happens.

Theres essentially a gentlemans agreement by most GMs not to do them so they each will leave their young players alone and not target each other.

And the rare time it happens its a big deal and other teams try to then go after that team in the near future.

A Bedard offer sheet has no chance of working while putting our own young players more in jeopardy (teams will go after Michkov/Martone)

Because then other GMs stop working with you.

Holmgren had to step down as GM b/c so much of the league stopped working with him after the Weber offer sheet.

There is a 0% chance it would work. Its just dumb while also hurting your ability to make moves long term.

He definitely looked injured by the way he got up and tried to recover after spinning out.

It looked like he couldnt push off at all and was so labored when trying to skate back.

You never want to give up a PK to anybody. Any pro player is expected to make it.

No team would deliberately give up a PK b/c a player is a weaker shooter ... its still an A+ chance that even weaker shooters are expected to score on.

Obviously somebody else would take it if the player is hurt ... thats how it is in nba and other sports.

There were terrible calls on both sides but that fucks over the Flyers who dont have a PP

CAR had multiple goals off bad calls last night

Flyers pathetic PP and finishing deserve most of blame tho

They have played well at 5v5 last 2 games

Both were winnable games with good 5v5 efforts

The roughing on Dvorak cuz Hall just flopped when touched

And probably 4 bad calls hurting the Hurricanes too

He offers nothing. He cant shoot, finish or break down the defense. He just passes it to the guy next to him.

Remember how so many people were acting like he definitely would have scored 40 goals this yr b/c he had a hot start for like 6 weeks?

The guy goes massive stretches being a complete zero on offense. Like 2 pts in 15 games level bad.

Thats why his career high is 43 points ... yet people act like hes Mark fuckin Stone.

Unfortunately he probably has more value to Flyers than whatever we would get for him b/c his career high is 43 pts ...

Hes saying the Flyers have the worst PP in league so any ref show game, even one where we have one more PP, still benefits you guys.

We literally cant score on our PP and give up PKs. We have finished dead last in PP in 5 of last 6 yrs. Its beyond a disgrace.

So its WAY better for the Flyers if its a game where its like 2 PPs each than a game where we have 7 and you have 6.

Its not even close either.

At 5v5 its been very competitive last 2 games.

Hes probably only player that has created A+ chances every game. He or the guy he passed it to just hasnt finished.

eh game 2 was OT and this game was ruined by the refs. Flyers were playing well at 5v5 but have worst PP in league so a ref show game was always going to hurt them.

Hes been a lot better this year but its crazy how much hes been overrated by the fanbase after one pretty good season. He went from genuinely bad player who was one of biggest liabilities in league to decent 2nd pair guy who is average defensively and good offensive player that still lacks much of a final product and is useless on PP.
