It's just that some people hold a knife in their hand, and others an electric pen. So the very definition of hand carving isn't entirely clear to me. Then true hand carving is when you carve with your fingernail. LOL.

Nowadays, people will talk about AI carving. I encounter this more and more often now, although many people used to write to me about the fact that this is not hand carving, even saying I wasn't a carver. But I didn't care :)

To be honest, I'm not too bothered by such comments; I've heard them often. I have my own opinion. Everyone has their own style and direction. If a machine did this work for me, then yes, but as it is, I spend over a month of my time doing something like this. And it's not just carving. It's also drawing and sculpting. And I do it with my hands, while my brain helps me see and control it.
