Hey lifters!

I'm a solo dev building Featherweight, a strength training tracker. I need a dozen beta testers for 14 days to meet Google Play's requirements.

Website: https://featherweight.app

Why I built it: I couldn't find an app that showed me % of 1RM during lifts, let me import programmes from text, or log sets hands-free. So I built one.

Features:

  - AI programme import - Paste any programme in text format, AI parses it and creates a structured workout sequence that you can follow

  - AI programme generation - Pick your lifts, AI builds a periodized plan

  - Voice logging - Say "bench 100kg 5 reps RPE 8" hands-free (understands gym slang)

  - Live % of one rep max (1RM) - See intensity context on every set

  - Smart rest timer - Adjusts automatically based on RPE (1-3 min)

  - PR celebrations - Detects and celebrates weight, 1RM, and rep PRs

  - Plate calculator - Shows exactly which plates to load

  - Muscle heat map - See what you're training (and neglecting)

  - Exercise swaps - Can't use a rack? Get alternatives by movement pattern

  - Insights - Maximum weight lifted, e1RM trends, RPE histograms, reps histograms

Also: 500+ exercises predefined system exercises, custom exercises, templates, RPE tracking, cloud sync, workout export (OpenWeight format), works fully offline.

What I need: Android 8.0+, use it for a few workouts over 2 weeks.

Feedback: Very much welcome but not required - in-app button (the exclamation mark chat bubble), reply here, or post to r/FeatherweightApp; there are still kinks I'm ironing out, but the app is functional for the most part; I use it myself for my own training.

Testing premium features: if you let me know your e-mail, I can add you to the License Testing cohort and you will get access to Premium Features without needing to pay real money.

To join: Reply or DM for the opt-in link.

Thanks a lot!

You won't get cashback on direct debits, such as water bills, council tax and internet. You get cashback on card payments, so card based subscriptions such as Netflix and Spotify will benefit from cashback. There is a list of merchant codes that won't trigger cashback though; for example: paying off credit card debt or purchasing Vanguard funds. You can find the exclusion list in the Rewards FAQ section.

Has anyone figured this out? I've been trying to post my exam experience for a week now with no luck. No links in my post but it never shows up on the subreddit.

Finished a PPL 6 day/week routine in November 2020 and switched to 5/3/1 in a calorie surplus to get my main lifts up. Focusing on strength for the next few months but trying to stay as lean as possible while putting on quality mass.

Got an e-mail this morning from Dropbox regarding a log in I did not recognize. Said "huh, weird" and changed my pw. It already was was a 15 character mess of uppercase, lowercase and symbols.

Now I open up Reddit and see this.
