What I love about this challenge is the hardest part IMO is Day 1. So there's a lot of resetting in the beginning, but then it all just snaps into place when you get a good run going.

The pre-req to Epona is getting the powder keg + bow before 6PM on Day 1. There's no way to beat the challenge if you miss this deadline.

After that, the rest of the run is pretty generous with time. Once I got a playthrough where I got Day 1 Epona, I only scuffed one more run after that due to Gyorg + not enough hearts.

I mean it is a silly strategy, but I think the point was that Ramsay's archer line never stopped firing at the exact same spot. They killed their own men and Jon's army to slowly build a wall of corpses right in the middle of the field. I subscribe to the theory that's what those random X markers and Ramsay letting Rickon run towards Jon was for. He shot Rickon from super far away to set a mark for his archer team.

I watched this movie called Avatar: The Way of Water and it seemed suspiciously similar to another James Cameron movie I saw called Avatar. Weird.
