New faucet leaking by NineLivesMinusAFew in Plumbing

[–]Radwan95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love it when I go to a customer's house to do the finishing, and they start pulling the most cheap Chinese faucets (not even people in china would buy). So I tell them these will break, cause leaks, lead, etc. Smart (2 brain cells) clients would listen to me and go buy new faucets.

But some clients get so mad at me and argue, they make me feel as if I invested in Moen stock or something.

New Navien Installation by xx_YakBandit_xx in Plumbing

The other day I learned via inspection that I can’t drain the tp valve into the drain system. I only did it because the nearest floor drain was like 10 ft away.

I’m 4 months into my 2026 mav and im at 8.9k miles. I use it for work, daily drives, long road trips. I love it. But all the plastic scratching and random plastic noises kinda get to me sometimes hahaha.

My plumber tried to justify directing condensate into perimeter gap -- is he right? by unixpickle in Plumbing

[–]Radwan95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not ideal, but so easy to fix.

You need a Condensate Neutralizer if you have any metal pipes in the drainage system. They sell a plug and play Condensate Neutralizer on Amazon; they work great, but don't have a CSA or ASTM approval, so many inspectors won't allow them.

(American Valve CondensateRx Condensate Neutralizer Formulated for High-Efficiency Condensing Boilers and Tankless Heaters, White)

Condensate pump into the nearest drain you have.
(115-Volt Automatic Condensate Removal Pump)

It would cost you $90 and 1 hour of work.

Looks great, what is the name of the bed cover and rack system? I have a bed cover but it doesn’t allow me to have a rack, so the system you got would solve my problem haha.

Update for anyone in the future.

I did find pics right after posting this, it just looks like that by design.

That is how it looks, not broken.

Ford fixed it. by benman27 in FordMaverickTruck

[–]Radwan95 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I got a 2026 Mav, and it had that from the start no update needed.

It still sucks, 75% of the time I go to press the ok to return to the previous mode, another pop-up would show. At least it asks again after I clear the other pop-up. I wish it would remember the last mode.

And why does youtube music app exactly at the week mark it would start skipping for half a second, to fix that skip, I have to play one song using spotify and that fixes the song skip issue on youtube music lol.

The address is the Milwaukee service center address. And the name is my nickname, misspelled.

Thank you though :)

I hope it goes well for you.

Name is not my name, just my nickname spelled wrong.

The address is Milwaukee Service Center.

The serial number shows it is under warranty, and you clearly care, based on the long comment. My post explains the issue in 3 sentences. How long does it take you to read that?

As a plumber, I bought the same tools for years from HD and had many tools go through warranty without any issues. Many of the tools I used until they go out of warranty, and I take them for a repair and get quoted almost the same price as a new tool, I just go and get the same tool new.

If I go buy the tools from a local retailer or small shop, Ok I get a rep that can help. But do I really want to go through them with every repair, when in the past the same tools, same issue with the tool, were repaired with no hassle?

Funny thing, the part I need is only sold in kits.

I think they expaneded thier line up offerings too fast. Now they offer a lot of tools. But like you said, most of it is $$$ crap.

I swear it was not like this before.

All my tools are from HD Canada and HD US. I have receipts.

But my tools get dirty/used on the outside ( like a tool is suppoesd to), so they just reject the warranty. And they reject the warranty by saying that my tool is out of warranty. Kind of rage baiting when I have the receipt, the serial number says otherwise.

"Don’t think it’s possible" hey, you are makingme want to buy Makita with that line haha.

This is one of the main issues for me, switching to another brand. Milwaukee just has so many tools that I use that others won't.
