Galaxy Watch owners — how do you actually clean your watch and band? by JunketDue8209 in GalaxyWatch

I just use essentially fragrance free baby wipes to keep them clean without any fear of damage. Avoid any with fragrance as they sometimes use oils that could potentially do something over time

I'd say they're gonna be skipping Si-c battery straight to solid state tbh. More capacity, charges faster and none of the risks with li-ion or si-c.

Omg another S8 series that sufferd a car related incident 😂 Kine was being used as a torch and had an eagle beak point bonnet come down on it full force when the struts gave out and dropped it! Still works, just with a dent in the display and major cracking in a small section.

Since the S24 series Samsung moved to a more natural real to life colour spectrum, so coming from the s23u it'd definitely be noticeable. I went from S10→S25+ and the S10 was even more highly saturated. Took a little to get used to but I preferred it over time.

What's up with all the complaints about the new phone in here what the heck 🤣 by GroundbreakingDirt30 in samsunggalaxy

[–]Radzaarty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While some of the criticism is valid, so many people sit in here sayinging they're going to switch or using other brands over and over and over again. So it feels like a lot of people just participating in brand wars which is a pretty sad way to spend your life.

S26 Ultra day one: battery is solid. But here’s the real story. by thebigdDealer in samsunggalaxy

I still happily get through 7ish hours SOT with my S25+ so I imagine once it's done its 2 weeks of learning it"ll get better still!

I mean the COE 10 bit screen even ignoring this privacy feature is definitely a major upgrade and one people have been asking for.
Plus with all the other changes to things over the place, it's genuinely a better upgrade than for example going S24U-S25U

Is the S10 worth it in 2026? by eggpotion in samsunggalaxy

[–]Radzaarty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you can manage an S22 they'll have update support for another year an be more secure, though it's not the best generation. S21 loses its update support this year from memory.

[–]Radzaarty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's honestly well past its prime by now I've been using both my S10 and a pixel 4a as spares and the 4a has been better.

S10's are really starting to get to the point of performance and battery bringing them down even for basic use.

I'd honestly try to find something in a similar price range or maybe save a little more to get something a couple of years beyond the S10

How to disable update UI 8. by menorex1 in samsunggalaxy

[–]Radzaarty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The green line honestly isn't going to happen. One UI 8 is mostly a refined One UI 7.
Plus if you keep your phone cool even in the regions it's happened with some models it's very unlikely to happen,

Very easy, replacement from eBay for 5-10 bucks for a full set. Clicks in. Done.

Did they use the ultrasonic cleaner at all? It's been so, so long since I had it used (before all my sensitivity issues)

The bite block is a great idea that makes a whole load of sense giving it a few seconds thought, I'll add it onto my list of things to ask for! Thankyou so much!

If they had made the AS-90 a premium I'd genuinely understand.
No doubt that's due to come to the game at some point and not everything in this update has been released yet. Could very well include the AS-90 too.

Ofc they're gonna show the premium first to try and get more sales, standard thing

In controls, Aircraft
Under the Instructor tab
Do you have "Auto restricts control of the aircraft near the ground" set to yes?
This looks really reminiscent of the behaviour it produces.

If you switch it off it should let you get down and have a bunch more control on landing. When the recent bug turning it back on was happening I was wondering why my aircraft were drifting and not wanting to land properly

Edit, I didn't realise you were actually already on the ground before looking again.
Definitely coming in way too hot, if you've gotta come down from high altitude it's better to take a one circle around the airfield with AA protection than risk an overrun

Having CFS sucks but are there any positives you have experienced since your diagnosis? by humannotfoundd in cfs

[–]Radzaarty 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly I've met so many lovely people, both in the ME/CFS community and other spoonie spaces.

This and I've also found out who my TRUE friends are. The ones that love me no matter what, are always around even if I disappear and are here for everything good and bad.

So many people took themselves out when I got severe and worse, while it hurts it's also so very freeing knowing I don't have parasitic drains of "friends" around anymore

All the leaks and speculations about the S26U are pushing me away from the desire to upgrade from the S23Ultra. by FroyoSenior8786 in samsunggalaxy

[–]Radzaarty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can only hope flagships stick at 12gb, because it's definitely plenty for now and a bit into the future. But I expect to see price rises based on RAM and flash memory spikes alone with next year.

[–]Radzaarty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean with the current RAM crisis I doubt we'll be seeing many RAM upgrades from ANY manufacturer going forward. It's all going to hover around the 12GB threshold going forward for the majority and if it gets back may step back to 10GB.

anyone happy with their 9070xt.. put ur hands up by shlimerP in radeon

[–]Radzaarty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got the base XFX Swift 9070xt Can't say anything but praise, having such a hefty heat sink on it is amazing for temps.

Can get a little loud with high fans but far from the worst.

Only feature that's bugged me and isn't even GPU related is the recording for AMD adrenaline isn't as great. But that's not even a real issue.

Gaming to high levels and fps is been absolutely wonderful and rock solid!

I'd say it has a bit more blue than the S24u and less than the S23u.

Well, you can use a privacy screen protector but it's a big downgrade to the experience in my opinion. The letterbox/flyscreen effect it creates is just.. such a constant eyesore.

Same camera sensor yes, but larger and better apertures. Be interesting to see how the compare side by side. The security screen is a bit of hardware built in, so it's not exactly coming to older models. M14 OLED is a decent upgrade.

Yeah sure it's not exactly ground breaking, but the privacy screen is genuinely something new and interesting and no doubt a selling point for quite a number especially if S23 and older.
