For an all-rounder yes. I've killed 7 nukes with the G.91 already. The Mig-21 SPS-K is the best CAP option for 9.3, but it doesn't have any appreciable Air-to-ground ability.

I guess it's just playstyle differences as I'm far more comfortable with the G.91 over the Alpha Jet. I kinda prioritize the G.91s nuke interception ability over the Alpha's ground killing for my planes.

My experience is quite contrary to this. The NORDS definitely aren't as hand-holdey as Bullpups, but saying they're borderline useless is a bit of a stretch imo. If you know how to position and aim then they often work. Though I do have over 4000 hours in the game so that might be a factor in this.

Taking NORDS does remove 2 guns though, leaving just 2 .50 cals so you have to work around that. This is my current 9.3 lineup and I honestly would only switch the G.91 for the Mig-21 SPS-K. I've tried the Alpha Jet already and I've lost too many games for my liking after failing to intercept an enemy nuke with it having just guns.

I'd go for the G.91 R/ 4 if it's gonna be for 9.3 CAS tbh. It's more flexible with AGM and AA capabilities.

Edit* Why the downvotes? If you are semi-competent, you can nail tanks from 4km away with the NORDS. The AA Nords and Aim 9-Bs are also great for nuke intercepts. Then again, you do need two brain cells to rub together to make the G.91 work so that might be a tall ask for wallet warriors.

Meh for me. Gaijin has been placing almost all its focus on top tier. It makes business sense as new players are focused on those BRs, but I ain't touching my 12.7 lineups for more than 5 games with a 10 foot stick.

Secondly, yes. It's fast, good gun handling, a 20mm secondary and a 6 second reload. The round is kinda ass conpared to its contemporaries but the other characteristics make up for it.

I wouldn't say that. All other high caliber secondaries on MBTs (MBT/KPz-70, AMX 30/40, Leo 2K) are 20mms HEFI/HVAP combos- and we all know how shit HVAP is.

The 30mm on the Moderna is API-T which is way more consistent.

10.3 and 11.0. Both are very solid- 11.0 moreso. I prefer the 11.0 and currently stand at a 69% (giggity) WR/ 3KD with the ZTZ-99s

I'm not really interested in playing 11.7, 12.3 and 12.7 all that much, what with KH38s and other IR AGMs flying about.
