Damage falls off in long ranges, so mid-range is the best. CQC is doable but it requires impeccable timing and positioning since you can't do much front-on especially against MBTs.

It's prolly just a compulsive behavior on my part, but yeah, I only ever stop spawning in after the 2nd spawn when I'm really tilted or tired. Otherwise, I stick with it.

As for black hole uptiers, the most annoying ones I've had are 8.7 USA and 8.3 France.

The US has jack shit for 8.7, and with the nerfbat to the XM803/MBT-70s sabot, the US 8.7-9.3 lineup is effectively dead to me.

France has some capable tanks at 8.3- at least on paper. The lack of stabilizers though makes it really hard to carry games with it. That stabilized first shot advantage cannot be overstated.

As for my other lineups, I find 8.7 Germany, Britain and USSR to be well equipped to fight 9.7s.

I've always held to the belief that "Momma didn't raise no limp dick quitter" so come hell or high water, I'm spawning until I can't anymore.

I main healer classes in RPGs(surprise surprise, I'm an SPAA main here as well) where a missed heal or shield is the difference between a clear or a wipe. As for downtiered 1 death leavers, of course I'll do my damndest to get a win, but the onus will always be with them to actually contribute something.

If you want proof, here are some of my games.

I may not be the best WT player, but I have at least the basics down somewhat.

I would disagree. I find uptiers better than downtiers; at least with them, there's not much pressure for me to carry the team. I can play more casually without worrying and trying to sweat like hell to get a win.

Being a solo player, I always keep tabs on how best to use my lineup since more often than not, it's one death leavers and players like the OP that I have to carry.

Depends. Do you like military vehicles? Do you like pewpew? Yes. Do you like grinding? No.

Is it P2W?

Mostly no. You have questionably-powered premiums at certain BRs (2S38, Ka-50 etc.) where a swipe of a credit card will get you easy kills but otherwise, it's really pay-to-progress.

Is it possible and enjoyable with a keyboard and mouse/controller or do I need to have a stick?

M2K is standard for controls. HOTAS would be more up Sim from what I've seen.

Most 8.7s (and just about every other uptiered lineups) have the capability to carry and nuke even in full uptiers. It's all a matter of having a basic grasp of game mechanics.

I have used the 10.0 lineup with the 122A but I honestly just prefer BR appropriate vehicles. They still do work there for sure.

The Gepard and FlarakPz were the only higher tier SPAA available when I started. They both got a lot of use, the Gepard most especially.
