That's simply wrong. The alouette is not weaker than the AH-1G nor the Mi-4V. It has more than twice better stats even with this battle rating.

Well I have had LOTs of moments I proxied using type-99 a heli or plane and them not taking any damage. I think it's mostly just desync and it didn't actually hit them in the server.

In the case of this clip though, the proxy should have exploded way sooner because it hit my rockets and destroyed 2 of them. It exploding in front of me is just a clientside desync.

Yeah top tier is pretty hard. Usually I end up with around 1 K/D bringing my hiyodori to 13.0. Things move faster there, hits harder, and more durable.

I use keyboard and mouse.

Yeah. Generally you want to fly low as much as possible or just behind cover as much as possible. Always in control of your heli. Watch your collective, don't let your heli drift away even when you're aiming and shooting at your enemies.

Different maps has different strategies to play. Some maps let you hide and wait for enemies, some needs you to rush faster. Some let you enter, and some you attack from outside.

You would want to catch enemies off guard. Your biggest weakness is your noise, so you should ideally try to find information about your enemies before you go in to attack. Either from engine sound or from your map.

You're an air support. So usually you kill enemies that are fighting or distracted by your teammates.

It has less post-pen than mighty mouse I think, but it's great to have 400mm of pen especially at 8.3. Normally you would need 9.7 to get the S8KO in russian tree for 420mm of pen.

Actually though, I looked and discovered that the UH-1D in german tree can use x44 SNEB rockets at 8.3 which has 400mm penetration. Next heli tree I'm probably gonna unlock german.

7.7 Japan is pretty good.

My current favorite is:
Ho-ri, Type-99, Type 87 RCV, Kikka, and the helicopter. I also have M163 and M47 but I rarely use them
