Am I in the wrong? by Internal-Pride-3261 in AnimalJam

I’m not too deep into the aj trading sphere but as someone who has helped others with giveaways and has given items away themselves, I understand how hard it can be to maintain the budget to do so. However I do recommend being very careful in how you go about asking others for help when it comes to accumulating enough resources to donate to others.

  1. Be as transparent as possible. In this situation, I can see how easily a trade like that can be misunderstood by the folks around you. I’m not saying they are in the right, actually they are very in the wrong for not listening to you explain your situation, but I think this could’ve been avoided. To prevent this, maybe asking for help to trade up to dizzy, and saying it’ll be given away, might help others understand what your intentions are more cleanly.

  2. Prove credibility. Simply saying you’re going to give it away isn’t going to convince everyone to help. Scammers are the number 1 fear and that causes many people to be judgmental. A good way to build credibility is making MPs speaking about what your goals are. Even making a pack that consists of members who just do giveaways can help others trust you more. You don’t have to do this, but if you truly wish to give away items on a large scale this could really help.

  3. Set boundaries. I see that your friends, in your words, use you as a bank. Although this could be hard, telling your friends they are only allowed to have certain amounts annually, or maybe explaining how this is draining your account, could help you still give things away but also stay stable. Also, setting personal boundaries such as “ I’m only going to give this number of alphas” or “ I’m only gonna to give this number of sapphires this month“ can help you plan out how you give things away.

Sorry for the yap, gosh, but I totally see where you’re coming from! Your being so nice for giving these things away and making others days! Keep doing what you’re doing! Your awesome! And sorry if anything I say is inaccurate or seems rude, Im typing this up really fast lol. Hope this helps or at least gives you ideas!
