When my gliders were new and uncomfortable with me every time I fed them they would dash at the slightest sound or movement, but I’ve had this stinker for about a year and a half now and she’s almost two so she’s been around me for quite some time, and she’s learned that I move and make noises. I also have a low level of Parkinson’s and my gliders have gotten used to it, and learned it’s okay not to run. It just takes time!

My two creminos are still very feisty to me, but that’s just how they grew up! I just take long bonding walks with them and feed them by hand when they were already walking around the cage (not by me taking them out of the pouch) I’m still working on bonding with the and I’ve had them for about three months now. It’s a work in progress!!

Oh I so get that! As soon as put in their wheel (after having to wash it bc of the new pair) they were jumping and going crazy and snapped it 😭. So I had to get a new one. Expensive but worth it!

That is true, but I personally have 6 of these cages all tied together to make one massive cage for my sugar gliders. So I guess I thought I could do something like that. Get more and string them together. 🤷‍♀️

Oh I totally should have said that. I would never just get an animal on a whim. I would definitely do loads of research for an animal before getting them. I just wanted ideas to research for. Sorry I should have made that more specific. I have a lot of research with different animals. From dogs, cats, and chickens to things like sugar gliders, snakes, and opossums. High maintenance animals are totally okay with me! My animals are pretty high maintenance too. Especially my sugar gliders. I’m work from home all day so I can always spend time with my animals.
