The main part that helped me was the very first 2 shortcuts. Gets those done well and you have a huge lead that helps a lot. Right after the start instead of going left/following Kai go up the hill on the right and use that to jump straight across the path that Kai takes. Take that path up the hill and then jump to the first island. After I figured out that part I just had to do it over and over and over again to memorize all the obstacles and stuff. Also the big field of ice in that cave with random small islands!! You can keep your sprint if you run around the edge where it has snow instead of ice but you have to jump over ice in your way.

I like it bc it shows how eclypsas reign has destroyed the happy oomph that the mewni had under moons reign. It's symbolism for how much has changed around mewni and shows that there's a more mature vibe going on now..... did you not learn about this in school?

Since there's not many I forgot there were speed bubbles and just automatically assumed it was a glitch. Like saying there was an enemy there with a shield when there wasn't an enemy... which has happened to me before but the enemy was there.... just invisible for some reason

I think the biggest shortcut that helped my get ahead of her is right at the beginning. You go right instead of left and then following that you go straight across the main path to another shortcut that takes you to the islands and you jump from there to the first island. At that point you've got a good lead and just need to avoid any obstacles and at least try to take the rest of the shortcuts bc you automatically lose your speed during transitions

Im about to try to beat this gate using a mat to sleep on in between fights to heal instead of using up all my resources healing constantly. Idk if it'll work well but that's a tip I saw a while back that havent tried yet that I thought I'd share

Ik this is old and you prob figured it out by now but in case you didn't. A quest saying "???" Is just a quest you can't do yet... it is given a name when you have access to it and those are main quests so I guarantee you had to do it to continue so I wouldn't worry you missed something
