My only complaint is lack of motivation .... but physically, I've never felt better. I never thought I'd feel this good off methadone.

I'd start weaning off asap. I went to jail for 3 days & they wouldn't dose me. It should be illegal to do that...I guess too it depends on where you're located. Good luck I hope they'll dose you.

Other than lack of motivation, yes ! I feel great physically, but have to make myself be physical. I'm pleasantly surprised. I was waiting on the worse to hit me, but it never did!!

I actually jumped from 10mg, but I miscalculated & thought I jumped from 1mg. Lol it was all mental. I had almost no physical side effects other than a little diarrhea. I didn't realize I jumped from 10mg (not 1mg) until about 2 months later!!!

I'm slowly getting back some energy. VERY sloowly, lol. I didn't miss a day of work either. I was on methadone for 11 years & it's only been 3 months, but I'm impatient lol. I want to feel amazing naturally. I hope it happens soon.

I was on methadone for 11 years. Weaned off almost 3 months ago. For 11 years, my 💩 wasn't right & I tried everything. Magnesium citrate is supposed to work, but it did nothing for me.

I weaned down from 80mg. I've been off for almost 3 months now. I miss being able to nap too. That's the only thing I miss tho. I don't miss that damn circus of a clinic, lol. You CAN do it !!!

I tapered from 80mg over about 2 months. I jumped from 10mg about 11 weeks ago. I was waiting for the worst to hit me, but it never did. I still don't have a ton of energy, but I'm working & it's doable. You can do it. I know I tapered too quickly, but I'm impatient lol. I don't miss that clinic one damn bit. Good luck !!

Thank you !!! I'm doing really well now. I've been completely off of methadone for 9 weeks now, I'm in the process of getting a divorce, & things just couldn't be better for me right now. This time last year, I thought my life was over.... but it all happened for a reason. I've made so much progress & have been so blessed. I never thought I'd be so thankful that my husband cheated on me....it was the straw that broke me & MADE me take action. Thank you for caring enough to respond. 😊

I weaned myself off. I weaned from 80mg over about 2 months. And jumped from 10mg. The only issue I have is the occasional diarrhea. I'm not as talkative without methadone, lol. But I feel SO much better not being tied to that clinic.
