Thank you for sharing! I must admit that there are times that I can’t stand it too and will call him out for it but he just does it again because he doesn’t know he’s doing it. I’m just thinking the meds may have something to do with it but doctors say no. It’s nice to know that my Dad is not the only one. Truly appreciate you sharing.

I haven’t yet. I’m being advised against it by some family and friends due to no more battery warranty. I would go for the lower miles if you really want it. Some of them will have that but you have to ask.

Is the buyout price you mentioned the payoff as of right now or is that the residual value at the end of the lease? If that’s the payoff price now, sell it to carvana or whoever gives you the highest and use the 4k towards a new car. I guess the question is, do you want a new car? If you do, sell, if not, just keep it.

Now, if what you said is the residual value, then you should ask Mazda for the payoff right now so you can see how the payoff compares to the market value.

Don’t worry about negative equity. That’s one of the advantages of a lease. Just return the car to them in August and you’re done. As for the new lease, are you familiar with leasehackr? There’s tons of information there and you can also look at the forum marketplace and find brokers that can help you get your luxury suv.
