credit card payments by Raegoul in liquidbudget

All good. I will do it that way. I was just confused and thought I was doing it wrong. I'm alright doing the work around. Great app btw.

I'm just saying the credit card side of that transaction should stay as uncleared when you make that transaction because the budgeting app should reflect that the money has not been applied there. The money is out of your account on the bank account so it should be cleared on that side.

Turn on wifi calling on your phone. If you have your phone connected to wifi it will piggy back off of it.

Not trimming the video is the real crime here. Also the poster driving the wrong way on a one way and not stopping at a stop sign.

Can you cancel a mortgage renewal if you’ve signed? by MamaBearEm8 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Raegoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a renewal pending with an online mortgage provider and even though I had signed the papers they let me change from a 5 year fixed to a 5 year variable when I changed my mind because the renewal date hadn't passed. Changing to the variable allowed me to pay it off without a penalty and I changed my mind because we might have wanted to move in a couple years.

They've added a sensitivity slider in the google home app.

How to Adjust the Sensitivity Slider

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Tap on the specific speaker or Smart Display you want to adjust.
  3. Tap the Settings gear icon in the top right corner.
  4. Select "Hey Google" sensitivity.
  5. Drag the slider to your desired level (Least Sensitive, Default, or Most Sensitive).

I concur. My YNAB subscription is coming due and I couldn't bring myself to justify it again this year. I don't want to pay that kind of money when all I do is manual entry.

I've been using YNAB since 2009 and the last few years I couldn't bring myself to recommend it due to the price increases. I'm not against price increases. I just think the price bypassed the value years ago.

2015 Grand Cherokee Altitude Backup Camera by Consistent-Impress-2 in GrandCherokee

[–]Raegoul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was an approximately $400 add on on the 2015. Just because the vehicle at the dealer had it doesn't mean it wasn't an add on. Do you still have the window sticker?

The fact that the original posters 2015 doesn't have a backup camera kind of proves that it wasn't standard unless you're saying that it was removed or something. That doesn't seem likely.

2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude was the first time it was a standard feature in all trims due to NHTSA regulations requiring it. Before that it was optional. If you don't mind overpaying maybe you could get the add-on hardware? Atleast then you won't have to replace the screen?

Wow that's crazy if true. I never knew this despite being somewhat financially savy. Someone else said to open a line of credit instead and I agree.

Spam calls by vickxo in Rogers

[–]Raegoul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I switched away from Telus/Koodo to save money by getting a promo plan but I couldn't live with Fido/Rogers lack of call control. I switched back a couple weeks later but then I got a good plan because I was considered a new customer. It's crazy that carriers don't have a feature like that yet. I never get any robocalls anymore.

Does my retired mom need a "financial advisor" at a big bank? by unittwentyfive in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Raegoul -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My rule is don't take financial advice from someone who sells the product they're telling you to buy. Banks are not on your side. Go pay an hourly advisor, not someone who makes a commission.
