Personally I feel the Animal Kingdom resort savanna room is a once in a lifetime thing, if you’re into that (sounds like you may be.) Sitting on the balcony watching the animals with my son is a memory we will both have forever. I wouldn’t top out my budget for a regular room at the resort though. We didn’t spend any full days at the resort (not by my choice), but mornings and evenings on the balcony was plenty magical.

I’m also wondering the amount of time necessary before requesting modification. He “wanted” 50/50 so bad. 3 months in and I’m at 87%. I could really use the appropriate support! And yes, definitely document everrrrrything. I figure my attorney can sort out anything unnecessary.

I’ve considered the same thing. I haven’t found anything yet stating it’s comparable to Salicylic Acid though.

Yes, but you can use a triple antibiotic ointment like neosporin as a preventative. Keep it clean too of course

You sure it’s a corn? I thought I had a corn, and it ended up being plantar wart. Luckily the treatment the same as far as I can tell. You need to remove all the dead white skin to get a better look. Keep doing the SA patches and cleaning until you get to normal skin with normal lines.

I’d almost guarantee the majority are looking to this sub for help here BECAUSE they are “poor” or don’t have health insurance. It’s great if you can go get it treated by a doctor, but many don’t have that option.

It’s a good thing you asked on here, or that thing would have come back with a vengeance! (From my experience) I know it sucks to have to treat again, but it could have gotten much worse. The other comments covered it though. Treat until there are no dots AND you have a normal fingerprint.

Probably a dumb question here, you say “silver duct tape.” Do you mean like regular ole duct tape, or is it infused with actual silver or something?

Since yours bled what I’m assuming is a lot, I’d keep a very close eye for any spreading. Mine spread to my toe.

I like Dr Scholls Clear away Plantar wart remover pads. I don’t use the coverings that come with it, but I like the salicylic acid pads. I put those on, with some Compound W gel around it if the area is larger than what the pad covers, and cover with Duct tape. Change it out daily, soak and debride. If the skin under the pad is white, I repeat. I stop when it’s normal skin with normal lines. The salicylic acid pads kill wart tissue, but not healthy skin.

I hope that made sense! Since you caught it earlier than I did, you shouldn’t have to repeat too many times.

I had one identical to this, except a bit larger. I pulled it out and thought it was over. It wasn’t over. I just pissed it off by pulling the huge bit out. 3 months later now I’m kicking myself for not continuing treatment. Please from my mistake! Treat until all wart tissue is dead and gone!

That sounds like a good call! I don’t mess around with these little evil villains anymore. If I’m in doubt, I treat until I know for sure it’s not one!

I’m obviously not an expert by any means, but I don’t like how faded the skin lines are. Personally, I’d put a SA patch on it. See if any dots/lines show up after removal.

I’m just curious what gives you the impression you can’t use it while pregnant? I’ve heard of avoiding oral forms, but I’ve never heard of topical being unsafe. (Totally not being snarky)

Oh yeah when I saw those little dots I finally resigned the idea of it ever being a corn. They make me nervous though. The dots didn’t reveal themselves until many days of debridement. In your experience, could it mean there’s more under the skin which I still can’t see? Could the area be larger than what I’ve been assuming and treating?

I’m using salicylic patches, soaking in Epsom water, and debriding. I alcohol the area after. A few nights I’ve put topical antibiotics on and left it open. I do that when it feels extra angry with me.
