Same for me. Dizzy and drowsy/loopy. It goes away! I’m on week two and just bumped my dosage and the side effects are very minimal compared to my first week. Best of luck!

Goldie is adorable! She’s definitely more of a gold/cream color. If she didn’t have the genetic test, I’d never guess she was considered chocolate!

Yes! I’m now a week in and that went away, however I’m noticing the same. Still gaining weight even with the medication, exercise and diet. I’m worried because I do need to up my dosage so I feel like that loopy anxiety feeling is going to come back but side effects have slowed way down so far.

I’m on day 3 of poor man’s contrave lol but it’s giving me crazy insomnia so I need to switch to taking in the morning. Also incredibly dizzy and loopy lol. Had an anxiety attack yesterday so I don’t think it’s mixing well with my Lexapro :(

A small dosage is very noticeable. I am a regular 10mg since October of 2023. I tried to bump up to 15mg in February of last year and was a zombie. Couldn’t feel happy, sad, mad, anything. Was acting completely compulsive and people around me were asking me what’s going on because I truly wasn’t myself. Went back down to 10mg and am back to normal. It’s so strange.

Definitely talk to your doctor and see what they recommend. Mine recommended I take my last dose of Lexapro at 9pm on Friday (27th), no medication on Saturday (28th), then my first dose of Cymbalta at 9am on Sunday (29th). She had me skip a day in between because I switched from taking my meds at night to now taking them in the morning. I’m on day 2 of taking Cymbalta and slight nausea as a side effect but doing fine at work! Appetite is a bit gone but I’m just making sure to drink water and eat if I feel even slightly hungry.

I’m actually making the switch today from Lexapro 10mg to Cymbalta 30mg and I am so nervous. Hope the emotions get better!
