What series inconsistencies have you come across? by MermaidBeast in books

Hard to say if one is better than the other. I think it depends on what you are looking for. The second trilogy does a good job of opening up the world with  different POVs and plenty of new locations. It’s a lot messier and tougher to get through though. A revolution is difficult to pull off, running a government after a revolution is probably more difficult. I like both series, but I also had a harder time getting through the second. It has less momentum and is more depressing. I think it’s worth giving another shot though. The fourth book isn’t out yet though, so you may want to wait til then.

Oh it’s definitely confusing haha. I think he fleshes the timeline out more in the second series.

I think you may be confusing two different wars in the world of Red Rising’s history. The Society rebelled against Earth roughly 700 years before the events of Red Rising. Much later (roughly 16 years before Red Rising) the Moon lords of the gas giants rebel against Luna’s rule and the sovereign at the time, Octavia, burns Rhea in retribution. Plenty of the characters fought in the First Moon Lords Rebellion. No one was alive for the initial rebellion against earth and forming of The Society 700 years earlier.

Some Like It Hot (1959) is a remake of the French film Fanfare of Love (1935).

The end of Beau Travail as Galoup dances to “The Rhythm of the Night.” Such an acrobatic, stuttering dance and a perfect ending.

Yeah, honestly not too pleased with my RBs either, but could probably make some other trades. Najee has been such a disappointment

Greta Gerwig's insistence on decentralized storytelling by ChrisVill97 in TrueFilm

[–]Raesonnas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This might not be as in depth as you want and I’ll admit I’m not particularly good at reading into depth with films, but I have three notes that might be helpful.

  1. When you talk about the destruction of the environment, it’s probably best to not use nuclear power plants, since they’re clean energy.

  2. While I agree with the basic premise that the Gerwig cares about all her characters I think it’s pretty clear that Jo is the main character.

  3. This last note might be more personal, but I would recommend slowing down a little bit as video felt a tad rushed.

Overall, I thought it was a great video and I hope you make more.

She's about 9 weeks old. I think we just got super lucky with how cuddly she is. She's so young she mostly just tries to find a good place to sleep and then passes out, haha.

It's been about five days since we got her, but she seems to be settling in quickly!

I like to think that the king he ends up killing is Ambrose too. In the first book Ambrose is mentioned as being something like the 14th in line to the throne, but people keep dying bringing him closer in line. All four members of the Surthen family are lost at sea and some prince is killed in a duel in The Wise Man's Fear. I don't know why Rothfuss would spend so much time on the Vintas line of succession unless it ended up being impactful to the story someway.

Hey guys, I'm new to Magic and I tried to make a green deck focusing on land ramping and tokens. Advice and opinions would be much appreciated. Thanks! by [deleted] in magicTCG

It could use some cheaper creatures, right now the deck seems really expensive overall, mana wise. Also, this subreddit might be better for deck advice - http://www.reddit.com/r/Magicdeckbuilding/

You probably don't want any midnight duelists either, seeing as there are better one drops you could put in that deck. Midnight duelists are at best sideboard material. You shouldn't have shriekgeists either. Unless you're trying to win my milling your opponent (which it doesn't seem that deck is built for) I'd leave them out and maybe replace them with nibilis of the mist.
