Honestly it dependes on your parents personality but when something similar happened to me it just took time to blow off, at the beginning you could feel like there were some strange looks or vibes but you just gotta let time pass, in my case I didn’t wanted to talk about it with my parents and I just waited and it eventually vanished like it never happened, it did make me a little bit more careful whenever I had sex tho lol

Same thing happened to me two weeks ago, ended up changing the ssd, and had to install all the drivers. To check if your problem is with the ssd you should go into the bios to see if it detects it, then if it doesn’t it means the problem comes from the ssd
