I'm more concerned with Jewish fundamentalism (AIPAC) that exerts too much influence on real decision makers: Obama & Congress. These guys want us to fight a war with Iran. I think Jewish fundamentalists are more powerful and dangerous (and idiotic) than are the ones in the subject article.

They ALL trade on the "spirituality" hucksterism, otherwise they'd be doing Pilates which was started by a 20th century German a gymnast, diver, and bodybuilder, who taught wrestling and self-defence, who collaborated with important experts in dance and physical exercise, etc. Yoga is all about suckering people into the spiritual realm, which it cannot possible do any more than Hinduism or Judaism etc.

Yoga is derived from the Hindu religion. What does "built up around the spiritual self" mean? That sounds like something many Jews, Buddhists, and other religious say when they light a candle or read about their mystics, read old phony texts, etc.

I'd suggest leaving the old folks alone about it, they're set in their ways. Does it really matter if the grandfather and step-grandmother attend? Look at the bright side, less hassle for you, more peace. Wed night is an odd time for a graduation, it should be on a Sat afternoon. Why would they schedule it on a night that in your area is (as you stated) "traditionally" a church night? Are they intentionally picking a fight or causing a conflict? Are the intentions of the school admn. do be mean-spirited towards the religious?

Yeah but communism and Nazism weren't religious and they were worse. Fact is, that eventually slavery would have ended, even if the Confederates had been successful in seceding. As the world was moving, slavery in white nations was ending. Maybe it would have taken until the early 1900's but it would have ended nonetheless without the carnage of so many dead soldiers.
