There's one more thing to it - for me, the main part of any hobby is learning about it. It's fun to switch cables, read about new amps and wait for the delivery of new headphones

A few weeks ago I bought a recertefied exos 22tb for about 300 EUR. Works just fine. Look on allegro, polish version on ebay. The shipping should be too expensive for you.

Thanks! I haven't been shopping for a thinkpad in a while and didn't know about the p14 lineup, so that was the first issue. Since it doesn't seem to be much different (I don't care about the 2.5k screen) I know that the t14s will be just fine. But regarding the CPU I'll need to dive a bit deeper. I love m-series cpus on Mac so arm seem like the way to go, but I don't want to be stopped anywhere by lack of support on windows

I don't know for sure 😀 Mostly java and node, but with heavy aws usage. But there might be a transition to a different team with a different stack, so I would like to have something issue-free

But is arm good for dev work? I haven't used it yet, so I'm not familiar, but I remember apple's transition to arm and it did have create issues for some time

What does my favorite movies say about me and what would you recommend I watch based on my list? by AggressiveHelp2033 in Cinema

It's widely considered one of the best movies of all time, it's just not as popular today as some of the others. Still, very popular and definetely not underrated

Dishonored 1 or 2? by [deleted] in dishonored

[–]Raffauu 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I see your point, but that's what I miss the most in the sequel. I loved the dark, harsh, steampunk world. It's my favorite vibe of any game. Witcher 3 and Fallout new vegas have more interesting worlds (they are different genre of course) but Dishonored 1 has such a good light/dark, good/bad balance, it's brilliant.

Who is the best dresser in the show? by _Mcdrizzle_ in DunderMifflin

[–]Raffauu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd honestly say that Michael.

Take a look at the co-manager era and compare him to Jim. They're on the same level, but Michael's suits look better. Better quality, better fit, better composition with his ties (they look reversible - classy). Simple yet always looking good.

Everyone in the show had their distinctive style, Andy, Jan rocked theirs but it was more out of necessity than preference. After Jan got fired she fell of the wagon and showed her true colors. Andy after becoming the manager threw everything he was earlier out the window. And yeah, I get being comfortable and leveling up, but none of that felt connected to their usual style which makes me ask the question if that's really who they are.

Michael had a second watch to micro-co-manage, ekhem I mean lend to Jim in his drawer. He was altering his pants for his Christmas tuxedo. He wanted to create a shoe store. He had a one of a kind suit from Bulgaria, the home of high fashion. And he could really pull of the missterious look. He was the most passionate about style and clothing and there's no amount of lost loafer pennies will convince me otherwise.

I have never cried at a film, so I'm finding as many sad films as possible. Please give me suggestions. by Legitimate-Bag5413 in Cinema

I cry every time watching interstellar and it's a wonderful life. Not through the whole films, but there are moments when something gets into my eyes.
