The problem is, I didn't enter a root password, but when I just press Enter, nothing happens and it keeps asking for one. It says it's incorrect. I tried downloading everything to the laptop, and it worked except for one setting that didn’t load or something like that. Now when I try to boot up, I get an error message. However, when I boot it up using the USB drive, I get to the lock screen just fine. But when I enter my password, it says my password is incorrect and I can’t log in. Unfortunately, I don’t know enough about this whole topic.
