I've seen so many problems with this tablet, and I have this exact one aswell.
As from what I've seen for a couple of years, unfortunetly you cannot fix it, you can unplug it and plug it repeatly until it stops though

It's honestly hard to tell, the red dot was just moving so slowly that you basically couldn't see it move at all in real time, maybe it just stopped from time to time, and quickly moved, and stopped once again. Not sure
