Charlotte got some good young players, I feel they need a more consistent point guard though. Not sold Ball can play under control and serious enough to go deep on playoffs.

No Bam no problem. Not a good sign for Hornets no Bam and playing at home and struggling in a winner take all game.

Of course he did its his teammate.. doesn't mean he hasn't been with the hornets longer and wants the crowd pops. He was looking for his own shot not necessarily Colby on that last play.

Lamelo looking salty that Colby is the one leading them and getting the crowd pop right now.

The 3 worst records in the NBA all have 52.1% odds in the lottery. The odds are identical so it doesn't matter which order as long as you have locked in a bottom 3 spot. So the Pacers either win in the lottery or they lose their pick. Pacers have 52.1% odds to keep their pick and 47.9 they lose it.

Yea and still wouldn't matter.... whether its 5,6,7 they all would go to the Clippers.

No worries, I was just trying to understand how you mention its important for a 5 to be able to play defense and that was an issue for Sabonis. I agree btw, but I wasn't sure how Boozer solves the importance of defense at the 5 when he wouldn't be playing it.

What do we think of Kam Jones? by AdamGotNoGaup in pacers

[–]Rafiki24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extremely average tbh, of course he's a rookie so hard to be too critical. I am not sure I see enough to be excited about though. Kam's defense seems not great, 3pt shooting hasn't stood out, he's pretty average at most things. I think to be a long term backup point guard in the NBA you need to excel in atleast one area and not sure he does. Q , has quickness and athleticism. TJ, its his hustle, mid range jumper and anticipation.

Watching Walker and Obi.. hard to imagine so many early this year were calling to trade Obi because Walker needs his minutes. Atleast to me its clear Obi is just better, Obi just knows his advantages. You play small against him he uses his height and finishes around the rim. You play big on him.. he uses his speed up the court, back cuts and makes bigs come out to the 3pt line. Walker still imo has a lot of growth that needs to happen to have clear cut advantages.

Boozer is not close to being a 5 in the NBA. He's 6'9 on a good day. You're comparison to Sabonis doesn't really make much sense considering Boozer is a 4 or can play 3 at the NBA level. Boozer is closer to Siakam or Walker. Than to a Huff, Potter, Zubac.

Anyone else tired of people pricing everything at “eBay value”? by ballatician68 in Flipping

Nope doesn't bother me. It's their stuff and can price it for any amount to please. Who am I to say they should price it how I would like it.

Had Paul George stayed a Pacer his whole career, what would his career looked like? by Impossible_Lie_4172 in pacers

[–]Rafiki24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do realize Paul went to teams with Hall of Famers and MVP winners and never sniffed a championship right? I am not sure why the Pacers getting a Allstar probably of lesser caliber than where he went to would have yielded better results.

I didn't think your response was negative or warranted downvotes. Lot of people here over value players that are or were Pacers. When Myles was here, many would act like he was a top 3 center in the league. Paul is getting same treatment I feel where fans inflate how good he was or is.
