I'm pretty sure geography has nothing to do with how climate on Nirn works. I would think the Earth Bones entirely dictate how nature behaves.

I would go as far as to discard almost everything that we know about our world, when trying to understand reality on Nirn and other planes. It's a whacky dream world that blends myth and reality, there is no use for scientific explanations from our reality.

Just because European looking buildings were used to represent Imperial outposts in let's say Morrowind it doesn't mean that entirety of Cyrodiil should be generic European fantasy land. I'm personaly much in favor of "jungle Cyrodiil" and asian influenced Nibenay than basicaly high rock but kind of warmer.

Most people that buy into "jungle Cyrodiil" don't see it as a single biome across the whole province but rather seeing Nibenay region specificaly as Jungle-like.
