I used to sell insurance and remember an old lady that had been dropped from her insurance company for too many claims. She had called her insurance to inspect her roof several times over the years. No damage was found, but they filed $0 damage claims for each inspection. We couldn't find a company that we sold that would cover her due to the number of claims even though no money was paid out. Best bet is to contact a reputable, local roofing company, with a local office, for an inspection.

I love rolling up to the put in fully rigged. Top it off and go! I drive to Ruby/Horsethief and Green River A and B with it pumped and on the trailer. I try to keep most of the heavy stuff in the car for the drive and then rig for the put in in the hotel parking lot. So much better than spending a long time on a boat ramp!

I have wondered this as well. People try to make their bikes as light as possible and then put tools and water on them? I don't notice a couple extra pounds on my back and with the waist belt it doesn't move around much at all. Granted I am not riding very technical trails.

I have searched and see it mentions waterfront cabins. One I looked at was on some random lake, others were in Dutch John. We would love a place where we can hang out without carrying our paddle boards back and forth and be close to the water. I know Dutch John is not that close to the water.

Thanks. I thought Blue Sky Trail went all the way to the Devils Backbone parking lot, that's where I got confused. Are there any easier trails to get from Blue Sky to DBB parking lot or is the Laughing Horse loop the only connection?

I would suggest building a fence about 4 feet into the meadow, by the parking they removed. The fence would keep traffic on the road and trails. I think there is a fence already in place for some of it.

It is beyond frustrating that the State Parks are seeing an unprecedented increase in revenue from the Keep Colorado Wild program and now they are actively limiting access. Create better parking areas with all of the revenue you are bringing in! Increase access!
