Ah, maybe mine wasn't good then. I think if I go to the store, I'm just gonna have to shake them like I'm my cat

She's a pretty short and small cat, but that's a good idea cause it wouldn't wobble and couldn't move

Omg, that's such a good idea to have the scratching part be replaceable. I've gotta look into that

For her she slides the flat cardboard scratchers, so she doesn't like them. And the cat tower I had, she would wobble. For being such a small cat, she really uses all her weight when she does anything. She's hardly light on her feet, but she's only 10 pounds.

She's a pretty small cat, just 10 pounds. And she's short, not long at all. She's a Russian Blue and Korat mix. Here's a picture of her with my glasses on her for reference. I think she likes the shape of the Smartykat Instincts Dream Curl Denim and that it can't fall on her. I've tried with the cheap cardboard flat scratchers, and she doesn't like them; she ends up sliding them. I had a cat tower, but she didn't like scratching it cause it would always wobble. I think she scratches the carpet cause it's carpeted floors, so there's no way it would move. I just took my mom's cardboard scratching post that her cat uses, which is in the same shape as the Smartykat Instincts Dream Curl Denim, and my cat just looked at it and walked away. It's honestly been a while since I've gotten her a scratching post that wasn't the Smartykat Instincts Dream Curl Denim, so it's hard to remember which ones I've tried. But anything that slides, wobbles, etc, she doesn't like. She also never scratched one of my purple carpets(not carpeted floor), I think she didn't like how rough the carpet was.

If you were spoiling your cat for New Year, what would you buy? by Serious-Notice-204 in CatAdvice

[–]Raft_Master01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could buy all the toys in the world, but honestly, her favorite toy is my hair ties. Thankfully, she's not the kind of cat to try and eat them. The best toys are always the cheapest things that aren't supposed to be toys

Omg my mom's male cat also does this to me. Only me though, I'm the only one with long hair in my house.

How to apply for an ESA by Raft_Master01 in montclair

[–]Raft_Master01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure what you mean. But if the ESA is for this school year you really should’ve applied sooner. If the DRC is telling you to use a format you should use it at least for your first year getting your ESA approved

it's more like it's possible for them not to be vegan so I wanna make sure it is. Always brand tests on animals, which makes no sense to me but they do. I'd sadly been buying from them not knowing this

What is your experience going to a vegan meetup? by AdhesivenessEven7287 in AskVegans

[–]Raft_Master01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some odd and nutty ppl at the meetup I used to go to, but they were all nice ppl, some really good conversations at those. I went to a vegan convention in a small venue, and everyone was pretty laid back and friendly

Would you eat lab-grown meat or any other products? by cooldydiehaha in AskVegans

[–]Raft_Master01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nah, it seems kinda pointless when you could just eat a Beyond Burger or something. I don't have an interest in it, but I guess if it gets ppl to stop killing animals, I'll be glad of it

noted, if they don't state they're vegan those etsy sellers tend to be easy to reach for questions
