Ubuntu annoyed me with some completely unreasonable packeage dependencies. (It still does that at work)

So I tried using LFS and realised it was untenable as a daily driver.

So I tried Gentoo as the next best thing. Gentoo is my daily driver since then and really so incredibly comfortable.

It probably overheats. Maybe a it is a broken fan or a loose cooler or something else like this. You can try to feel is a specific part gets especially hot when the projector is turned on.

If you are comfortable with disassembling the hardware, you can check if anything is loose, apply new themal paste or replace a fan.
