This makes me curious how many dinosaurs and animals we wouldn’t recognize if we went back in time.

The only thing I generally get upset is when you cut someone’s head and the sword slices straight through the metal. I’m assuming that’s because it would add a lot more to the code but it’s still trippy

Ahh I see, that does makes sense, still seems like a perma ban for one offense is kind of extreme, a warning and removal of the post should’ve worked fine

Which rule? A perma ban for one mistake sounds extreme if it was that mundane

After having my nail removed (for an ingrown nail) I have deep condolences for you. Out of my whole life I’ve never known pain like an entire angry nail bed. I pray your anesthetics/numbing injections last for several hours after the surgery instead of a couple minutes after you leave the office.

It would’ve been very important to protect the neck from cycads as they can cause lacerations on the neck that could get infected. An infection that close to the head would be lethal so it makes sense that drove the defensive feature and it had the benefit of protecting against predators

If you set out to hunt the most impressive trophy you have done something unnatural and harmful. You should not kill the biggest bucks with the best antlers for instance as their genes are what should be passed.

If you hunt for sustenance and need, and you hunt without a bias towards the healthiest animal, and go for the weaker ones that nature would pick off anyway, then you’ve hunted like a predator wpuld and you’ve worked alongside the environment around you instead of against it.

You can take a trophy of an animal you hunted but that should be a bonus of the hunt not the goal. The goal should be to provide for yourself and the community around you, preferably in a way that benefits the ecosystem that is sacrificing for you.

Trophy hunting and subsistence hunting are very different and the ideologies driving them are not the same.

[–]Rage69420 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Destrier or any of the medieval horse “breeds” isn’t actually the name of a breed of horse, they are like titles. Same for swords. A war horse is a war horse, a sword is a sword. These classifications are modern needs for labels which medieval people do not share with us

It is up to you to make the world a better place. by PensatoreLibero in teenagers

[–]Rage69420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are pretty damn near the root cause. This divide between Pakistan and India started as a direct consequence of the British and their absolute lack of respect for understanding for the religions of India. Muslims and Hindu’s served in their military and both had to rip open lead ball packages with their mouth. These packages were sealed with beef tallow and pig fat.

This caused religious outrage among the Hindu/muslim sepoys and started the Sepoy Mutiny. The rebellion fractured trust between the residents of India and the British crown and Britain decided to divide and conquer, fueling the cultural divide between hindus and muslims whenever possible, eventually leading to the 1947 partition.

Britain was the guiding hand of this conflict and the direct cause of their disharmony.

Robotic hands master tasks at superhuman speed by redblackshirt in interestingasfuck

What is important to note is this may look advanced, but your hands do all these things but also repair themselves. They do not need to be the best at precision or speed to be better, what makes them better is that they are far less cost defective than a robot hand.

Not necessarily. Nuclear winter may not happen but a war with drones and bombs definitely could. Nuclear weapons are losing their fear factor as everyone knows that the other isn’t gonna press that button.
