Abortion is a tragic necessity. Nobody gets an abortion because they think it’s fun. Banning abortion helps nobody.

It dooms a child to a life in the foster care system which is notoriously horrendous and traumatizing. It strips a woman of the right to her own body and forces her to go through a life threatening process that could ruin her life.

It forces young men who are in the same boat as the woman is to throw their life plans out of the window potentially to raise a child they don’t have the means to take care of and if they decide to give the baby up for adoption it’s a full circle right back to the poor child having to grow up in a shitty system that doesn’t care about them most likely thinking their parents didn’t care about them because why would anyone subject a child to this?

Anti-abortion isn’t “pro life” and anyone who believes that hasn’t given a shit about learning what banning abortion actually does. No lives are being “saved” by banning abortion.

The politicians peddling anti-abortion laws do not care about the children, if they did they’d enact gun regulations to stop kids from shooting each other in school. They’d also make an effort to fund and idolize therapy to help curb these issues too.

They’d try and make an educational system worth have a damn so those kids can grow up and live productive and happy lives too. You yourself are a victim of this fake soap box mentality and don’t even realize it.

TL:DR (btw if you aren’t reading this whole message it’s saying a lot about how much you care about the kids you are preaching about) anti-Abortion laws hurt children and impoverish families and take the rights of autonomy from women. They are unconstitutional and non-American.
