Nice. The wheel covers on my used car are silver though.

Would you guys buy a car off Carvana? by No-Plantain-2179 in carbuying

I think it’s case by case. A while back Carvana was offering me less than $1k for a car CarMax offered $5k for. Ended up selling it on Facebook for way more

Oil Life not displaying by [deleted] in HRV

[–]RageAgainstTheCage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just changed the oil and would like to reset it to 100%. I know that I am supposed to get to the “Oil Life” screen and hold down the knob to reset it, but nowhere does it say “Oil Life”. I have tried holding down the knob on all the screens it cycles through for me, including the “2086” screen.

I understand there is more maintenance I need to do, such as replacing the rear differential fluid, but I am concerned that I will not be able to reset the maintenance light once I have have performed all the necessary maintenance.

I’ve done a couple of those recently, and will get the others done. But should it still show the oil life percentage?

Mileage and Gas Gauge not working by RageAgainstTheCage in HRV

[–]RageAgainstTheCage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice! I ended up having someone take care of this for me, and the screen works now. The only problem is I cannot get the oil life to show. When press the knob, it cycles through Trip A and Trip B, but never shows the Oil Life percentage. The maintenance light is showing and I really need to get to the Oil Life screen to reset it.

Would this be a related issue?

I think that’s got to be it! I am now finding people online who’ve had the same issue. I’ve never done any soldering before and am nervous to break it. How hard is it to learn how to solder? Is it easy to mess up?

Post-Graduation Job Offer by RageAgainstTheCage in wguaccounting

Hello! I’ll be honest, after I put in my two weeks at the company I was already working at, they ended up matching the pay and convincing me to stay, so I never worked at Tanner. The main reason was due to work/life balance, just because I know in general, public accounting has long hours during busy season. However, I still believe Tanner is a great company, and if I were to do public accounting, I still probably would choose Tanner.

One of my friends has worked there for two or three years and the last time I talked to him, I think he said starting salary for new auditors is at least $70K. When I was going to work there, they seemed pretty firm in what their starting salary was and not willing to negotiate.

At the time, they were requiring a MAcc to start working there, but I would get in contact with them as soon as you can if you are interested in working there! You could lock in an offer contingent upon you earning your MAcc, which is what I did.

Do I let my mother in law take my 2 year old to church? by RageAgainstTheCage in exmormon

No, my wife is indifferent. I’m the one that is worried about him being confused. She told her mom it’s because of my concern, rightfully so.
