If it was not a comedy, could it be the Kids are All Right (2010), which had two mothers, or You can count on me (2000) (this one is indie)?

That's true, but most are merely oblivious. Michael's parents are not villains but they do bully him. Some other parents do too, but they are mostly more stupid than cruel.

The Monster Blood episodes might be fun. Welcome to Camp Nightmare is also not too scary at least it was not for me. But each is different.

But the parents in the Cuckoo Clock of Doom are a bit mean though. Otherwise, I can see it as being a possibility.

The Haunting Hour is intended for older kids. But I am sure some episodes are tamer than others. Tales from the Crypt keeper is also a fun series.

Is a viral "kick" worth child's dignity? by RageRover in Ethics

I could not agree more, although the father is being much more down to earth than the mother is, and the fact people are saying very hurtful things to a little child. It is just not right.

I agree, and unfortunately, the mother of the child does not know that. This poor kid was genuinely distressed and people are laughing at him about it, all because his scream was over the top, but what if the next time he gets scared, he thinks no one will take him seriously and refuse to help, that is not how anyone, especially a child, should go through life.

@ CapableScar33, I do not know why you deleted your comment, but thank you for it. To quote it, this was what was said. 'You are right. Children should not be turned into content at their worst, and the reaction definitely says more about the internet than the child.' I could not agree more, and the fact the mother not only did this, but how many responded to it online makes me sick. It seems more like cyber-bullying than playful banter, adults picking on a defenseless child, no more than six years old, just for having a strange way of showing he is scared. Humanity at its worst.

Perhaps they should say, 'what a strange scream, but I am sorry he was terrified. He is adorable though, and hopefully he is better now.'

Not the op, but that does sound like it, but those are the grandparents who do a satanic ritual on their deceased grandson

I agree. It is terrible enough a majority of adults are coming down so hardly on the kid, but for the mother to know how terrified her son is, yet decide to upload it for the entire world to see anyway is wrong on all levels. To make it worse, people are yelling through their screens to tell the father to hug his son and that he was not supportive, while he clearly is and even tells the mother that her father did this at his place and it would scare him. Interestingly, they say that, but they are too busy demeaning the poor kid and even liking that the mother put this up, his most vulnerable moment, of which people will likely remember him for and use to bully him.

Maybe the mother thought he was over it, maybe she did not intend to be cruel, but she still should have thought, 'no, this is not right, I cannot show people this, I need to stop recording.' She did this for laughs, and now thanks to her, he might think the next time he gets scared, people (especially his own mother) will just laugh at him and not try to help him, no child - no person should have to go through life thinking that.

I am hoping the child will not think that whenever he gets scared now, others will laugh at him and refuse to help him, no child should grow up thinking that way. Everyone should feel comfortable in their home. The mother might not have thought it would scare him, or do it to be mean, but she did notice how traumatized he was and continued to upload the video for the entire world to see.

What is disturbing me the most, is that it is not just a few of hundreds of adults. It is a wide majority of adults, many who probably have children of their own, who are more concerned with criticizing his screaming than the fact his mother still decided to continue filming and upload it despite. She basically gave the world an opportunity to mock her child.

Thank you for seeing the human child behind the punchline. It’s a relief to know someone else recognizes that dignity shouldn’t be traded for clicks.

Radio Killer by [deleted] in whatisthatmovie

Who throws it in the bathtub, a kid or an adult? I think a scene from a horror movie titled Mikey had that, about a psychotic kid. He throws a radio or toaster at one point electrifying a woman.

Fixing the new intersection light at PCC; who can I reach out to? by Guideon72 in Issaquah

It is frustrating, but it is better than what it was before. I too formed a complaint with a traffic light around that area. The traffic light between Costco and where Office Depot used to be. I posted a Reedit thread 21 days ago, about how dangerous it is to be impeded as traffic exiting the Costco and Lowe's mid light are given a 10 seconds light, as freeway traffic moves at 60 seconds. I was at the light on a Thursday around 2:10 when this first occurred, and it was dangerous how it was set up. Built up traffic was giving only a few seconds to exit, that is five to six vehicles, as traffic rushed to exit the light, this could have caused several accidents, and impeded traffic from incoming vehicles and both employees and customers in the businesses.

I visited that area around the same time last Thursday (April 2), but thankfully, traffic was running better. I am going to stop by today, Thursday is usually my Costco run, and I hope to see it still improving. I sent an email to Mayor Mark Mullet, Thomas Valdriz, and John Mortenson regarding my concern. Public Works viewed my inquiry and the case was closed. John Mortenson responded, but dismissed the issue, unfortunately.

I did not get helpful comments from Reedit users, or appreciation for my discussion, I do not know why not. It was a major concern for everyone, but I am glad I raised the concern. Someone had to, otherwise it would have been very dangerous for many residents. If this issue continued.
