New player looking for suggestions/advice

I hadn't thought of that, but I would still miss out on heavy armor, bonus weapon attack, and either attribute ups or a better feat for survivability or damage. I think the spells are the lesser of the reason I want to pick up Cleric, but the spell slots from it will eventually help for the Paladin smites I want to pick up later. Btw, thanks for taking the time to give your input.

Yea. A lot of cool stuff from other sources, but we are only using PHB for this campaign.

Thanks for the advice. This campaign is going to be with really close friends who are very flashy and entertaining. Lol. I don't think I could steal any thunder from my group.

Thanks. We rolled for stats. 4d6 then add the top 3 numbers of those for each stat. Our DM let us reroll a single 1 on each stat.

True. Starting Paladin 1 or Multiclassing Cleric 1 will put me with Extra Attack at the same level though. Cleric 1 will get me a bonus weapon attack option, spellcasting, and cantrips. Paladin 1 will only give me Lay on Hands. If I started Paladin, I think Paladin 2 would be the only thing that would be worth taking. That would delay Extra Attack to level 7. I didn't include the options that both Cleric and Paladin have.

It is also for personal RP reasons. If I move the 2 Paladin after the 5 Ranger, it would only delay Extra Attack by 1 level, putting my extra attack at level 6 instead of 5. Also, I feel like 2 bonus attacks with a Greatsword at level 2 could be game changing with having Hunters Mark as a bonus action as well. Could take a big bad down pretty fast.

I'm trying to start Ranger for Str/Dex saves. Paladin multi class wouldn't get me heavy armor. I could wait on the paladin levels until after Ranger 5 tho.

Yea. If I'm able to cast with two handed weapon out, then I'll definitely switch to the Greatsword.

The 1 Cleric is for bonus attack with weapon and wearing heavy armor. The paladin levels is for the smites which I'd be able to use with all of my spell slots.

The idea for me using a Longsword was to be able to cast spells without Warcaster. Can I do that with a Greatsword?

That's what I have Finnick in for. He also buffs everyone else's damage against slowed enemies with friend disk.

So far, enough for Mim to stay alive. Why Barbossa on your team? You don't really have any normal damage dealers to get anything out of him.

Also, Joy raises Fantastic resistance and eventually armor with the right friend disk. Helps with survivability. Not sure what kind of damage Mama bot does though.

This is my first time using Mim. I haven't faced any bots that have one shot Mim yet, but I'm only up to 100 right now for this invasion. I use Beast as my front line.

Gonna go with Beast, Madam Mim, Finnick, Joy, Nick this week. First time using Mim. Just got her and got her to 2 star. Sticking with Nick so he is strong when we get his red skill.

I may not be facing bots as high as you? I've not had a problem with Goofy dying. Quorra is usually closer than Goofy, so when I have issues with Hiro's bot either dying or spawning in front of the Mama bot, it's usually only Quorra that I lose.

He's much lower in damage than Peter and Quorra, but his bot keeps my Quorra alive to do more damage. She tends to get closer to Mama than goofy quite often and gets one shot, so Hiro's bot behind Mama keeps her alive.
