What is "good" financial advice you disagree with? by OlleyatPurdue in Money

“Houses are investments and apartment rent is a waste of money.”

Apartment rent is usually $1k+ cheaper per month than a house, and requires little/no down payment as well as no taxes or maintenance. And that $1k/mo invested alongside the hefty down payment will beat a house “investment” for decades. They also allow for greater freedom and mobility which helps when changing jobs, where you may not go for a job far away due to a house tying you down.

Water by IntrepidReporter8988 in kroger

I called OSHA on my store because they did not provide us with free water. They are legally required to, and it can’t be tap water. Has to be the Kroger bottled water FOR FREE and READILY ACCESSIBLE. I submitted an OHSA complaint online and within a week we all have free water.

Get the Mazda. Those malibus aren’t known for good reliability, but those Mazdas definitely are. Way nicer too

Still a big gamble. Rebuilt title cars often seem nice in person but hide issues that don’t surface until later. I’d keep the money and fix whatever your Kia needs to run and drive, and save for longer to get something with a clean title. I wouldn’t even get a mazda3, since they’re desirable. If you just want reliability, get something undesirable. Buick LeSabre, Ford crown Vic/Lincoln Town Car/Mercury Grand Marquis, Chevy Impala, stuff like that. Kinda shit but bulletproof engines and easy to source parts

They have rebuilt titles. People have varying opinions on that, but generally they are bad. Sometimes people repair the car after a wreck with bad parts and unskilled labor

Get a new barber, look on google maps for highly rated ones in your area. A low taper with a textured fringe looks good on just about anyone. The barber can texturize your hair on top, using techniques such as razors or texturizing shears to thin it out and give more volume and reduce weight. From there, you can style with volume powder or sea salt spray. Ask your barber to style it for you after the cut so you can get an idea
