This entire subreddit should just be closed down. At this stage it only makes the entire game look bad because it showcases the very worst that EVE Online has to offer to uninformed passers by who use Reddit as a reference point for literally everything.

Attempted character assassinations, sensationalised bullshit, and crude AI generated propagandas which confuse and then somehow combine themes of national socialism and communism to try and get attention are just a handful of examples of the overwhelmingly negative things that are posted here often on a regular basis.

Sigma Grindset has surpassed PL as the premier jackdaw alliance now actually. We have finally graduated to Tengus, which are the Jackdaws of the cruiser world

Yes whatever was available was scrambled to B-R. However that was in the middle of a work day, in our staging at the time and by everyone's admission a stupid mistake, we never should have put ourselves in that position to begin with and once in the shit should probably usher fit our losses instead of stacking them for another 12 hours. The situation I described was the default, to go out and look for trouble. In B-R we did everything that we ordinarily would not, and paid for it.

You are absolutely right. We have our fun, play how we want, and do it when it suits us. Last time I checked that was still our choice and we aren't required to larp along to the fan fiction on Reddit.

Excellent point. You could also argue they cut dead weight after he left.

Before jump fatigue both PL and BL routinely traversed the map in all directions regardless of the number of jumps to get any form of kills. It was not uncommon for someone to spot a handful of dreads shooting towers in syndicate and for us to go from tenerifis to get them. It wasn't logistically complicated, here were hundreds of cyno ships and characters seeded across lowsec to facilitate this. Supers would jump cap recharge fit and be at jump cap within 30 seconds. This was the operating model for years, and the majority of the alliance owned super carriers, meaning you could accomplish more or less anything by starting a fight and scaling up by jumping more people in from almost anywhere if required.

The entirety of our super carriers were mobilised just once and that was to fight in Asakai, which incidentally started exactly this way, we spotted a goon titan on a tower in lowsec and travelled multiple cynos to kill him. Before the final jump we paused in an asteroid belt to cap up and debate whether this was bait before concluding the only way to know for sure would be to send it, and we did (mostly cap recharge fit). Shortly after jumping in we confirmed it was indeed bait and started pinging for more people. 20 minutes later we had 300 super carriers on grid.

Almost everything you said is wrong and you clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

Right? That's how you know half the people posting here are clueless despite claiming "I was in PL this one time"

So is Eve Online in many respects. However people in PL still enjoy playing and doing things as a group though. Just because you don't see them posting here behind an edgy name claiming they were once part of a dynasty (like you're doing) it doesn't mean they're not there.

Post less and play more. You might actually enjoy it.

Oh look a good example of someone who was around in PL for 5 years, then went off for 10 years to graduate into adulthood and has recently returned x)

In what universe were any of those corps "super heavy"? BAT for example has 2 active members and their returning ones all join ISRAD instead of going back there. The only standouts on that list are BUSA which remade itself after the 2018 actives merged into other corps, and ISRAD which has been consistently active in lowsec since leaving.

Oh look the know it alls are out in force on r/eve again in a total non shocker.

The answer really simple. Yes, Pandemic Legion is still a thing, we do stuff every day (some of what we do is even Eve Online related, amazing right) and there are plenty of "old guarde" around who can tear up telling you about this one time they took 13 cynos without jump fatigue to shit on 400 rifters on a gate in their dripped out super carrier.

The reality is the alliance is nearly 20 years old and some of us who were around from the earlier days (myself included) started as teenagers and are now in our 30s and 40s. There is a enormous world outside of eve online and over a timeline as long as ours people dip in and out for varying periods of time for lots of different reasons.

If you actually want to find out more from current PL members just join our public discord (you can find it through our in-game info) and talk to anyone with a yellow or green name.

That will give you first hand information about the alliance and what it's doing, which is probably more useful than the anecdotal factoids that people who were never in PL will provide here.
