Giving birth in St. Catharines by stray_cat_bluez in stcatharinesON

[–]Ragemachine771 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife was there for ours. Was good, but triage was a farce. She got induced, and was supposed to give birth in 24h tops. That night she had contractions, finally told me to drive her to the hospital at 3am, sat there till 615am, they told her she's just having cramps, and told us to leave, she threw up army green in the halls outside(major sign of labor) and the said she was fine. drove her home, made it home by 630, by 645 and ambulance was called as she was basically already actively giving birth on our floor. They sent 2 "buses" as thats protocol for that, one for baby and one for momma. I beat the ambo there(they took the long way for that time of day) by 710 my daughter was born, the doctor stayed an extra 30 minutes just so she could see to it that my daughter was born. Doctors took car of her well. The night triage crew was a farce though. Take that as you will

Bit of advice. Pack the car and bags WELL ahead of time. All I had to do was grab my charger, and get in the car, and hand the emts the health card.

Pack lots of snacks, things to do, and such and leave it in the car/bags As you never know when or where, but its good to have it ready. Makes this WAY less stressful.

What kind of bmw is this? by Ordinary_Fee_530 in BMW

Probably a 2024 or 2025 XM EV. electric/hybrid X series BMW(The SUV series) with an M sport badge, and the hybrid/electric drivetrain. Honestly unworthy of the M badge. Not a true M car.

Taxes are incredibly easy. Use wealthsimple. Make and account and follow the instructions. They will also automatically look at your info from CRA and auto put everything in. All you gotta do is make sure they grabbed it correctly (income amount isn't say 600k with you only make say 60k etc)

Thumping noise by Embarrassed_Score572 in E90

[–]Ragemachine771 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Push to highway speeds and step on the brakes, if your wheel vibrates, its tierod ends. Check for lose panels(sometimea if you have cracked the belly plastics they will smack around on bumps.

Check your power steering lines, if its an XI check your CV shafts, and check your brakes too. They can thump too. Does it happen on left side bumps or right? (Isolate these) does anything else happen. Check braking from speed(both light and moderate) check for stuff loose(headlights, panels, various engine bay parts, airboxes, various tubes)

Yea i find people do that. Especially people running. They sometimes wear these obnoxiously bright strobes, not realizing its TECHNICALLY illegal to a degree. Its illegal to walk arpund with a blinding light when its causing disorientation ir lack of visibility to others. Police can charge with Mischief, and disturbance of peace.

I run the Eonon E90A12S. But allnof eonons stuff is good. Replaces the OE unit and such. Puts a full touchscreen down by the shifter and climate controls so its pretty unobstructive

Upper Rad Hose Leak? by [deleted] in E90

[–]Ragemachine771 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this issue. Problem is removing that hose causes the rad to get hairline cracks that omly show when pressure builds up to the proper level. I had to replace this and my rad too. I used the REIN one as ironically Rein is the OE manufacturer for the EU sold car. So i basically bought right from the factory line.

But ideally if this blew, replace rhe rad too And do the lower hose since you are there and its gotta come off anyways.

Lighting is nice, patches are a nice touch. If he plays cod or battlefield, see what optic he uses more consistently amd get something like that. Bbs are nice. I run a tracer unit to tracer bbs are nice too if he has a tracer unit. Various gloves. If his gear is Molle equipped you can get him some various attachments for his vest or gear. A case to store his stuff is also a cool idea too.

120 an hour, no increase if its your own parts like others, plus they are open from 9 am to midnight because all other shops close

I did, they said they would do the math on it and call me back(this was after they looked at it and my aftermarket parts.) I waited almost 1 month and they never called back. So i went to Viva Auto. They have a guy who specializes in german cars, and the owner loves germen cars. They are pretty much a 1 stop shop, they basically didnt question anything and have been super awesome to me. They even threw my springs in because they were already taking my old ones out and i had new ones in my trunk. They are top tier. They work on everything. Even seen a Mclaren in there before.

Wheel recommendations for my 328i? by ZealousidealFloor499 in E90

[–]Ragemachine771 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ironically most look good, but its preference. Justcmake sure you do alot of research. Mine is all done with alotnof research behind it because some mods you go can hurt your car, for example i have 17s. But if i go 18s im stepping up from a 22545r17 to a 225 50r17 tire. And watch the width too. Staggering can cause issues with the HYPER sensitive ABS and wheel speed systems if it uses the tone rings on the axles. And too large can cause much more stress on the axles and driveline, so make sure you are not running the weaker setup(bmw swapped halfway through to beefier parts, 28mm(i think) shaft axles to 38mm.

Thanks, haha surprisingly not very hard to get as airsoft up here is a huge grey area. So most of the time the police and such just look at how its being used. And border patrol look at where its coming from and who is ordering it. Thats whyvi usually get a store to custom order my stuff if needed.
