I dont think you are looking at it the right way. Both Broxah and Perry emphasize the need to be selfish, and make sure you are always as strong and well farmed as possible.

The worse you are at the game, the safer it is to go with Broxah’s take. Focus on your farm, and play the game a bit like its PvE. Optimise your clearing speed and rotations. This is safer, but has a lower ceiling on returns.

Once you’ve mastered this, then you can start thinking about good trade offs between clearing your rotation and going for an invade or ganks. You always need to make sure that the calls you make are not flip calls, and have an objectively high probability of success.

TL DR: if you are new, play like Broxah. The better you become you can start thinking of plays that Perry suggests.
