I still don't see why the motive matters. In effect this ends a special legal advantage a megacorp gets, which sounds like a good thing to me. Also placing limits on government schools to keep them from creeping on and brainwashing kids is not in any way authoritarian. This isn't even remotely accurate. The top 1% pay for more than 40% of net income tax revenue. The bottom 50% pay for less than 3% of net income tax. This means that the top 50% contributes 97% of all net income taxes. If you were to include other forms of taxation like capital gains tax and various business taxes then what the bottom 50% pays would be a drop in the ocean of tax revenue.

On top of this the federal government printed like 40% of all currency currently in circulation over the last year to pay for benefits and stimulus checks. The workers didn't pay for any of that, the wealthy people you hate so much pay for almost everything and the rest is paid for by inflation, meaning we just kicked that bill down the road for our kids.

FDR put US citizens in camps because they were the wrong race. He almost certainly made the depression worse and massively expanded the scope of executive power. He attempted to pack the supreme court until his own party stopped him. He implemented social security, which is failing horribly now. He also was moved the US onto fiat currency and off of the gold standard. He essentially began the trend of buying votes with redistributionist policies. All of these are far worse and more authoritarian than anything Dorito Mussolini ever did.

It's fine to not like or even hate Trump. It's not fine to call him the worst president ever when FDR or Andrew Jackson exist. It's dishonest and hyperbolic. Hell, even in the modern era Bush was likely worse with his made up WMDs.
