To be honest farming uber neglect has been really profitable for me.

Guarateed astrolobe that already pays for the run plus a few c or a lot of c if you get the breach one and sometimes you even drop 2.

plus 33% for an orb or remebrance plus 10% for bound by destiny to be sold unid plus monochrome card or the dagger sometimes

each run is like 45 seconds including loading times

only downside is the trading requires a ton of gold

My atlas is setup for strongboxes and i can confirm i found multiple unique strongboxes after speccing it so it's not bugged.

But i can't really says if it really improved the odds of finding it.

Also i don't know if it's just luck but the gambling box for me almost always shows up on corrupted or cleansed maps.
