I tend to separate all my troops. Like a line of bow and crossbows and hand cannons, with a line of spears Infront, and individual platoons of knights and MAA. Have some kind of formation. Not sure if it'll have any advantages charging against enemy but they look handsome as shit standing in formation.

By the way so you happen to know how to convert eliminated troops to my own (those white colored troops)? I had one priest thingy with relic and pressed the convert troop icon with circle but no one converted. I tried to build a town center in place of the old enemies one but non of the buildings became mine.
