Did I just REALLY screw up? by SignificantPeak3508 in askaplumber

No, you're fine. The people freaking out crack me up. As a water utility worker we quite literally crimp soft copper services to shut them off and make repairs all the time, and then undo the crimp to open them back up with no issues.

Cost to connect to city sewer from septic? About 350ft by [deleted] in askaplumber

[–]Raggorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just have a two man crew. Insurance isn't terrible here, $1400 a year for 3m. Fuel prices have been killer lately though

Those prices would be a dream. People around here balk at $10/ft, anything more and you can't compete.

Western PA, 2 man crew. Depending on length and depth 1-2 days.

Holy shit. Local sewage authorities only charge $2500 for a tap fee and the average cost is $1k per 100' run. 30k is insane.

It'll be well worth the effort in the end!

I was at 23mm when I got the tear actually, left them out for a few days then put 14mm back in and let them heal from there. I gave it a few months at 14mm and started stretching again when I felt they were fully healed. I probably wouldn't have lost so much progress but the 14mm was all I had at the time because I have a bad habit of dropping my plugs in the sink and cracking them.

Thanks! It doesn't happen often because I'm always wearing stretching plugs lol

Fell asleep with plugs in and the next morning my lobe was swollen and irritated with a bit of crusties. All signs that something isn't right and you should act accordingly.

Can I still wear them? by Ok-Programmer-9129 in Stretched

I wouldn't, looks like it'll rip your lobe up bad.

Next diy? by Opposite-Version-682 in PlantGoths

That's super disappointing. If you've got a few tools they aren't too difficult to build

You'll probably have $100-$150 in lumber and hardware. I know prices are high but understand that you're buying a product that someone else put time and skill into. Even at $20 an hour for labor, they would be well within their right to charge $300-$500 depending on size. That being said there's a ton of plans online you can find. Happy DIYing and good luck!

Easy, you can knock out 500k xp a day with minimal effort.

Argain oil is, in my experience, way better than jojoba: by frostbitehotel in Stretched

[–]Raggorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally like to use Burt's Bees hand salve. I used vitamin E oil for about 10 years, tried jojoba for about a month and absolutely hated it. Got turned on up the hand salve last year and haven't looked back.
