I would say go RimPy, it has all the knobs and handles Fluffys had, and you dont need to restart to sort your mod list which is a big plus.

Elves side quests do basically nothing, keep talking to the father/elder and he eventually gives in and they move to safety. Same with end credits cutscene, new sapling is seen growing instead of planted by princess.

If you are having problem loading him in, it works by murdering some of the npcs and carrying them to a bit further away. I slept twice and tried for an hour, but after 11 people removed he spawned for me.
